Nothing lasts forever.

That is why we have to live today like it's our last, no one knows whats around the corner, especially in this precarious world we live in. I find I actually cope much better if I live for today and not worry about yesterday or tomorrow and to enjoy life as much as we can. I see it so many times that people save and save and save for their retirement then their health suffers or they die and they can't enjoy the money saved or take it with them.

I've always realized that we aren't able to take our stuff with us when we are gone from this world and that is one of the reasons that I completely don't understand why there are so many people that are overly concerned with the stuff that they have in their lives. I also believe that God lives in a Heavenly Kingdom and that some of us will be lucky enough to eventually be able to be there as well and that it does have a lot of bearing on what we do during our lives. However, I don't believe that the actions of previous lives have any impact on whether or not we will be able to eventually reside in the Heavenly Kingdom.

Hi Professor, The only thing that we can take with us when we leave this present earthly life is the good we have done for others, the patience we have shown or it's opposite. I feel that life is eternal, that we never really die because we are not our bodies. We come here no doubt many times, to experience life in it's many facets, and later we will move to other greater dimensions. We must be content to leave it all to the great intelligence, as we could not possibly understand it all here. Blessings.

I definitely agree with you...I think what we have done here on Earth will be rewarded in our after life and that the bad things that we have done has a corresponding weight....

It is true that we were born with nothing and will take nothing with us when we are done on this earth. It is interesting that we can get so greedy for things that are not going to last and spend all of our time obtaining them. But we do not work on ourselves to make our selves better and that is all that we will have with us when our journey through this earth are done.

Hi, you are right. on this earth and in this life nothing lasts forever. Some people struggle for getting more and more money, property. They are ready to do anything for their greed and lust. But in the end they have to go with empty handed . they can not take their money with them. For getting money they ignore their family and beloved ones. They can't understand the importance of their closed ones and when the time comes, they need someone with them there is no one with them and they are alone at the end of life. So we should depend on good karma and should spend our life honestly and shouldn't do any evil deed in our life.

Hi prof, i agree with you, nothing is permanent here, since we are living an unpredictable life and we don't know what will happen in the next second, still we are enjoying a lot with our holding and have a lot of dreams and desires, goals and targets to achieve in our life. Our life is going based on our fate and we are living with god's guidance

I do believe that nothing last forever on this earth we came empty and we go back empty handed. I do also believe in consequences of what we are done here on earth and will accounted on His Judgement day but we have still chance to change our self while we are still alive we should repent of our wrong doings. Regarding our trial, tribulation, if our love once should go away in this world then we should nothing to worry for this that would be our purpose in this life. To be tested, to prove our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. "DON'T SAY I THINK" You should remove doubt regarding our LIFE ETERNAL. This is a greatest gift God Given us IF we follow HIS commandments and we should receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our Life and obcourse we should endure to the end. Have a nice day
