Yes, sometimes we are so excited to see their reactions and we tend to give them their gifts earlier. LOL. I guess you have to be patient and wait for Christmas Day. I don't have any gift yet for my family. I'll just buy maybe a week before Christmas. I hope there are still more good things on sale. LOL. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

Yes, some stores are on sale so we can have discounts. There are many people shopping those days. The malls are so busy. It's fun shopping though.

what a lovely Ted you have for your son. you will definately surprise your son. I can foresee how happy your son is. just hide the Ted in cabinet and give him when it is Christmas. I donot know what to buy for my boyfriend. just undecided.

I have trouble with this as I want to give gifts as soon as I get them because I get excited. So I hope you can be patient and keep the present hidden for the entire month. I am trying not to think about the drawer in which I have been hiding presents.

He is very good, I am sure your son will love him very much. It will be hard to keep him hidden though. I am always trying to find really creative ways to hide my kids presents from them until Christmas morning. So far they have not found me out. Most of the gifts are small this year though so they will be easier to hide.

Yes, that can be the problem when you get something early for them for Christmas is wanting to give them the item early, but knowing you all have to wait. I actually as of last night have my presents all bought for my husband, and just have a few small gifts for my god children to get. But the waiting is hard, and the excitement when they see them is even better.

I have to be extra patient because I buy presents all year round, once I found a wonderful present for my mother but it was about four months before Christmas I couldn't wait to see her face when she opened it. I had to hide it good to make sure she didn't see it and I had to keep quiet but you will find it is worth the wait. I am sure you will capture his delight on camera!

Actually last Christmas I surprised my daughter when I bought her cell phone on the night before Christmas. I'm still lucky that there are still stores that open that night. I'm very happy to see her reaction when I gave it to her on Christmas day.

A stuffed toy would be an amazing gift however, as for my son, he is so fond of cars and that is what me and my husband is planning to get for him this Christmas. A ride-in rechargeable toy car!

Hello youless,
I'm glad you are able to afford a nice gift for your son. It can be difficult keeping such a sweet surprise a secret for any length of time, when you know how much he will enjoy it. Happy Holidays! :-)

I am sure he'll love it. for me the hardest part about Christmas is getting all these wonderful things to give to people, and then having to wait to give them to them. I was not as patient as you were, when I orderd the new Microsoft Office 2010 for my husband. LOL He's going to get it as soon as it arrives in the mail. :)I can't really wait to give it to him, because he already knows about it.

Yeah better have more patience so you wont give it to him earlier. Your kid will surely like it and will really appreciate it once you give it on Christmas day. Great gift for a kid. Good luck and have more patience so the element of surprise will not spoiled.

Oh, I know. I have all the Christmas gifts bought, and I have to force myself from giving them to my beloved! :) Especially with my mom, she is eager to get a certain board game, which we nowhere found (it was from a not really known, local company, it was made 5 years ago, it's not trendy anymore etc.), and I found it on the Internet. It's so hard not to tell her I found that game!
