So it begins....December 1st.

December 1, 2012 6:27am CST
Well it's here. You can see this as either an 'End of the world' discussion or a 'Christmas is almost here' discussion. I have mixed feelings about both! I'm not prepared!

I would like to talk about the "End of the world". I don't believe in it but I already talked about Christmas every year. This is something special now :)), who knows when we will talk about the next predicted end of the world. SO... assuming that you will see on TV that the End of the World is certain and you have 1 day left to live, what would you do? I would decorate my Christmas tree and I will have one last great meal before the end :P

Oh good question! I'm not 100% sure to be honest. I would probably sit in a corner and cry for 24 hours!

Yep, these two would probably the two most discussed topics this month. Don't worry if you have mixed feelings about them. There are other discussions you could participate in. As for the end of the world thingy, well, most of us aren't also prepared for that one.

Hello RaineLockheart, I don't about the end of the world. if the world doesn't end on 2st, they might change to 2015? hahahah! come on, we are the only ones doing it. we have been struggling for improvement of our lives here just to put the world to end. I don't think any one can be prepared for the end of the world. not sure how i can make up for all the misopportunities and mistakes of my life

I can talk about Christmas but not about the end of the world. No one knows when the world will end apart from God.

That all depends on your religion....

Nobody knows when is the world ending. Nobody. Even Jesus or the angels don't know when. So please don't worry about this thing. Just accept the salvation offered by Jesus and be a ready servant of His. But here is one thing that I know, if there is a threat or news that the world is coming with an exact date, then that news is false. The Bible just tells us that Jesus is coming soon. Hold on to it and be ready.

on December, many people talk about the end of world or Christmas.I can feel that Christmas is in the air and when I go shopping in the supermarket, stuff all wear christmas clothes. I love this. I am not sure when is the end of world but I do believe I will seize every moment I have until the end of world comes. Have a nice day.

For me, it's "Christmas is almost here." It's also my birthday month. :) December is my favorite month of the year. There's something about the holidays that make me feel nostalgic. Sometimes I long to be young again because Christmas seemed to be joyful and magical when I was younger. :D Now, it is more meaningful. I don't entertain the thought of the "end of the world". In fact, I already have an appointment set for that day. I am that positive that God will not let us all suffer. :)

I have a good feeling when December comes. However, there are times when some people that surround you make it heavy for you. I pray for Christmas that there will be love in the hearts of people not only buying stuffs for Christmas. Thanks for this discussion. Have a nice day!

If you are a tory or libdem, then after the recent by-elections results, you probably think it is the end of the world. Or at least the end of their world is nigh. lol As for Christmas - Bah Humbug!

Don't we celebrate the end at Dec. 31? The end of the year, a brand new start.. using the firework to scare/send away the bad ghosts? Might be a good time as well to think over what you did this year, for yourself for example. How about all the goals you once had or set.. did you made them? Are you going for it or will you wait till you wake up one day knowing there is so less time left over? You planned so much you wanted to do but you were just too scared to do it, go for it, leave, invest in yourself.
