It is so cold in winter

what's the season in your surrounding place. I live in northern China. It's winter now. In the nearby town,people have turned on their air conditioner. In some place of the town, people use heater unit to warm the room. In the villadge, people burn the stove to heat in order to save money. In the morning,the water faucet is freezed, so you have to store water at noon after the freezed water faucet melt.If you want to wash clothes, you'd better use washer at noon. I don't like winter because it's inconvenient and we have to wear thick clothes,boot,hat,and glove, which make us look fat.Yesterday, it's snowwing. The snow makes it difficult to drive car.I like summer, in which you can wear thin clothes and go swimming.

I really hate the winter and I guess you know the reasons. I hate to wear bulgy clothes and all jackets, socks, mufflers, boots, etc.Brrr.
We have our temperature down to 5 degree Celsius during winter season.
While sleeping also we need to put on at least 2 blankets.
I cannot wait for the summer to come here.
I get kind of gloomy also during winters.. BRRRR..

I live in England and winter here is from December to February. We had our central heating on yesterday because the weather was really cold and frosty. The radiators warmed all the rooms in my bungalow. Outside this morning it was wet, rainy, cold and windy. I have to wear a coat, gloves, hat and scarf. It is a shame about the snow happening in your area of China. Good luck this winter. I prefer spring and summer. I don't like the winter.

Here also winter season started but not more cold like last year. I always wear sweater and scarf. Because I cant live in winter season without sweater.

Winter already started here and its becoming more and more cool day by day. I am already wearing sweater at night times as its sunny during the day.

My December is like summertime. I'm so curious how it would feel during winter season. I may not take the freezing weather or I may enjoy it. Hopefully I get to taste snow. lol

Hello crystal. Here where I live the weather isn't too bad yet. From what you wrote we have it much better than you do. We have heat day and night. We have hot water 24/7 and we can wash clothes any time of the day or night because we have a water heater to heat the water and keep it hot all the time.We don't have the water pipes freezing either. I don't drive any more so the snow on the roads don't bother me. so far we have had snow twice so far this winter but it wasn't much. It just covered the ground both times. I do think the snow is pretty and covers up the ugly road sides of weeds. But if I had to get out in it like you do with all those clothes I wouldn't like the winter either.

It is cold in my area as well. I'm not a fan of winter time. It would be nice if I could live somewhere that stays a decent temperature year round. I agree that the snow does make it very difficult to drive in.

I have the same feeling with you though I just live in southern China and not as cold as your place.In winter I do not like to touch water at all,I do not want to brush my teeth,wash my clothes even I do not like to take a bath.But I have to do it everyday.
