Can Villas-Boas afford to drop Defoe?

Jermain Defoe weighed in with another two goals to help Spurs crush Fulham yesterday.However, Defoe is meant to be a stand-in for the suspended,when not injured, Adebayour. But Defoe is now a leading contender for the Golden Boot having bagged a hat-trick as well recently. Can AVB even consider slotting Adebayour back in at the expense of JD? Surely Jermain has earned his place?
