I know it may seem harsh to other people.. but maybe it will serve as a lesson to them, a warning to others so they will not do the same. I do find them interesting sometimes, since i want to know how people turn out like that.. But that doesn't mean people should be allowed to live after committing those horrendous acts.. What is your take on this?

I don't think that killing all serial killers will teach anyone a lesson. People are still going to go around and kill people. But maybe it will stop a few murders, and that is better then nothing.

I also am fascinated with serial killers. Sociopaths and psycho-paths are amazing human beings! I am curious as to what makes them do what they do too. There are certain things that are commons in serial killers pasts. They usually have very over baring mothers, severe head injuries, lack of bonding with other family members, etc. I think if the murders are horrific and just over kill then, yes, the serial killer should not be allowed to live. A serial killers complete make up is so different from a regular human that killing them isn't the best outcome. They look upon other humans as pawns in their fantasy. And that is what it is, a fantasy for them. I think they should have to live and not be able to live out their fantasies. That would be the best for them since that is what they live for.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Yes i would like to support u on this. Serial killers are like a blot for our society and they have to be dealt with very harshly by the Govt and the police department. If no action is taken against them then they will continue with their extremely terrible and unacceptable act and at the end we would be left repenting and have no one to complain around. Its high time that we take strong action against such people and give a stern warning for our society. What say?

Serial killers' and psychopaths' brains could not be repaired, so they are useless alive. If they are kept alive, they would use a lot of society's resources 9food, clothing etc.). On the other hand, just putting them to sleep is too small a punishment for monsters like that.
