I baked up a storm this week. I made my oatmeal cookies this time with the strawberry applesauce I had, which isn't that great but I thought if I added some peanut butter to them they would almost taste like pb and jelly sandwiches haha. Was I wrong, but they are not that bad. Still, now that I have the coconut oil in my system I really haven't felt the urge to eat many sweets again and that is one of the things they say happens when you take it although it is on the expensive side in the states here. i got some cheaper on Amazon though and have ordered two more jars with my GC's there. I have decided to put alot of it in the freezer so I don't end up having to feed the already fat birds outside here with it if it goes bad again. I have a baggie full of crumbs I crumbled up for them from the last banana bread I made that did go bad. Do you bake alot? Do you bake so much that you end up having to freeze some of it like I just did? I am not making anything else now til almost Christmas day.

I haven't baked in years. I know applesauce really helps to lighten and sweeten breads and cookies. I used to make bars like brownies but real healthy and then freeze them for snacks. So this is coconut OIL not the juice, right? I used to make alot of banana bread because we ate so many and some would get too ripe. I just don't cook anymore.
