MacBook Power Adapter

I have a question to those who are using MacBook laptops.
How long does your power adapter last?
My sons are using those laptops and they got them brand new with the adapters included.
But it seems that those adapters only last 1 to 2 years and they would not work anymore.
I wonder if this is common with most MacBook laptops...

Yeah they don't last long. Apple makes horrible chargers. You can get one cheap of off amazon or a good one on everycharger.com .
