YouTube Newest Layout - Need Help!

Hi! I'm just so frustrated and disappointed in the newest youtube layout. I just can't follow it, it has some few features that I don't really like and I think that are not really necessary. I understand that maybe it's the part of improving and update the site but I saw a lot of people's comments saying negative feedbacks about the new layout, but it seems that youtube doesn't care. Maybe I need some time to figure it all out. My problem now is that I have a job, that is to regularly update a certain site by embedding youtube videos but now I can't because the 'share' button does not function so I can't access the HTML code to be copy-pasted to my site. If you know something about this, please help me! Thank you so much! PS: Even the 'like', 'subscribe', and 'show more' buttons don't function. I can't even comment!

Is ytimg.com being blocked somehow? I'm using NoScript and if I don't allow ytimg.com to go through then the buttons do not work for me either. Try going back to the site with your addons/plugins disabled except for Javascript and see if you have the same result.

Hi! Thank you for your response What is ytimg.com? I never heard of this before. Anyway I'll go check my plugins, hopefully it will work. Thank again!

I personally don't mind I. I think it looks nice and I haven't been having any problems trying to do anything on there. YouTube are not really bothered about feedback, when YouTube changed in April 2010. 9/10 people hated it but YouTube didn't care because they still thought that It was better.

Yeah, I think it was actually my computer's or browser's problem. I do believe too that they change things for improvement, and all we gotta do as users is to get used to it. They were not asking for our opinion anyway. I'm gonna get used to it for sure.

Is it possible to set youtube so it takes me right to subscriptions when the site is loaded? i mean aside from making a bookmark.

The thing with these websites is that it doesn't really matter what people think. So many people use it that they will have to use it anyways. It's like facebook. Everyone always complains when there is a new layout change but no one complains after a month or so.

Haha Yeah I agree! People will get used to it after some time, like me, maybe after a month, I'll be totally fine, hopefully This is one thing most people have in common, a lot of complains! Haha

I really like the new layout. The one thing I can not figure out is how to get my picture back up on the right hand corner of the page. I'm not sure about the negative comments, but for every negative comment there are probably five positive comments. I just want my picture back up there. I don't like looking at that grey photo. The share button seems to be working for me. I hope someone is able to help you.

Good for you. There is actually no big deal in the changes because I think I'll get used to it, the only thing is that these buttons I need are not working so I can't use them anymore. I'm really hoping that someone's gonna help me

Yeah! The new layout is not that good... Din like it... It was even irritating when Facebook changed its layout long back ago...But many people have become used to it now... Everything keeps on changing.. But people dont like the changes, later they get used to it. I dont usually comment on youtube... So cant compare the changes that have been done..

I'm sure I will get used to it later, and actually have no choice but to get used to it because this site is already so established and the change has already been made. Just go with the flow

I am having a problem with the youtube veideos, as instead of the video loading, and moiving clear over to the right hand side of the screen, where I have to usethe scroll button to see it. All the comments stay in place but the video doesn't. I thought iw as my computer, but not sure. It only seems to do it in Firefox, as I tried IE, and it is okay. I am not sure what is going on, but I certainly don't like the fact the video goes clear over to teh right of the screen. take care, and have a good day.

I'm not sure of that problem. I never experienced that yet but maybe you can ask some experts about your problem. The new feature is a little bit different but you will get used to it after some time for sure. Take care too and have a great day!

Hey! Thank you for responding here, and also thank you for the subscribing, though I'm not really into youtube. But I will check it out. I was thinking before of making money from youtube but I thought it must be difficult. Anyway, nice meeting you here!
