I find it not only ironic but totally appalling that our administration deems it necessary to send American troops along with Patriot missiles to the Turkey/Syria border but wouldn't send even a squad to defend American soil in Lybia. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/9745747/US-sends-400-troops-with-Patriot-missile-batteries-to-Turkish-frontier.html Am I the only one who sees the total hypocrisy of this administration?

ummm, I believe the president and the leader in Turkey are in agreement, and if I am not mistaken, our help was requested? Not that I agree with the action, I'm just a bit sick of no matter what America does there's someone who thinks we are a bad evil bully for doing it. IF we sat back and denied Turkey's request someone would say we were uncaring and not compassionate enough to help.

Had to do it - and send along the team of - - advisors - for the missiles. Glad that 2 other NATO nations are also doing it too. Just wish the word advisors didn't sound so - familiar and ominous

A lot of us see the hypocrisy--I've been seeing it for years. However, the POTUS gets away with more than most politicians (not all of them, but most). The man is also giving a bunch of F-16s to Egypt, now--lovely thought. They had been promised earlier in his administration--but one would think, the way things are going there at the moment, we would back out of that in a hurry. We still have no idea who got those weapons we were quietly passing out in Libya--but I would bet the guys that got them will be using them against us again. We have a long history of arming the wrong people.

I agree with you. While I understand that chemical weapons are a serious threat....if they are actually used, why then could we not also send troops into Libya to protect Americans and our interest there. How can they justify playing politics with peoples lives and still live with themselves......
