We traveled all the way over to a farther town to get to one state sale today and now I 'm happy we did, cause usually when we do that it is just wasted gas. I just went along for the ride mostly. I found a few old things there but didn't know how much they were gonna charge so didn't pick them all up, just one glass vintage item which usually is purchased in a set with others like it. I just didn't wanna leave it there as if I did have a set of them they would be worth more. Who knows I might get more in other estates one day. So I asked how much and he said it was for nothing. I was so happy, I said thank you and went to the car. That made me feel good today, if nothing else did. Have you gotten anything for free these days at all, even something "little"? Do you go to testate sales?

I don't go to many estate sales because I have almost everything I need. I don't have room for any more knick knacks. And I love knick knacks but I can't clutter my home any more. :) I have found some real bargains at thrift stores. I found a brand new purse last year. I priced this purse online and buying it new, it would have cost 5-7 times what I paid for it. I really like this brand new purse as it is a top quality brand. I do like bargains.

I have gone to estate sales in the past. I really enjoy them. SOmetimes they do give away stuff just to be rid of it. Good to hear you found your glass item. It is always nice to make those "finds" at things like Estate sales and garage sales.
