Yes I did,at least must of them! I did not see my oldest nephew and his family. One of the kids was sick. I went to my younger brother's place to celebrate his youngest son's 25th birhtday Dan. Dan is in the Navy right now and has been on leave the three weeks. Sunday he heads back to Japan were he is stationed. I had not seen him in two years!
I had a great time and will see most of my family on the 29th when my family Christmas is celebrated at my older brother's place.
My 88 year father was there, too. He has days when he can't remmeber people. Like I found out! Of course he reminds me and told me he is not happy I don't care about him. Well I don't in alot of ways. He is the root of all my problems to begin with. Even in his slowly failing health he is still an azzhole! I still have not for given him for being a lousey father and maybe never will.
So that was my friday. Ready to spend more time on Mylot, this weekend, since I not spent much time here the last few days.

I am sure it was nice to see your family...even your dad....have you ever considered that even if he was a lousy father that he was just doing the best he could with what he had? Some people don't know how to love or be a good parents. Cut him some slack. I know it's hard to forgive people but the only one you are really hurting is yourself. Someday this might come back to haunt you...maybe not. But give yourself a break and loosen up a bit on him. He's probably not long for this earth and then you will have peace.

Believe me I have thought about forgiving me dad! Alot! I still am not ready to forgive him. Maybe not until he passes on. Maybe it will haunt me in the future but maybe not. I just know he does think he did the best, raising me and the my siblings, he did which wasn't. I feel if I forgive him he will boast about it and glout! Even the with the failing health. This is how I feel.

The next time I see the family will be on the 29th at my older brother's place. My neice Randi won't be there. Friday she is leaving for North Carolina to spend her Christmas break with her fiance who is a Marine. I know I will see everyone else, though.
