I've been feeling better since I started back on a healthier eating plan, so I decided to go for a walk around the block. We are sort of in the the country, so our blocks are not like regular city blocks. My block is approximately a mile around. If you remember last summer I walked after I had surgery and I had to wear my oxygen and had to stop and rest about 20 plus times because I was out of breath. Well I just walked it in 30 minutes and didn't stop until I got home. I never even got winded, so I know in more fit than I was. The last time I went for a walk the dogwoods in my front yard had pretty pink flowers on them and lots if leaves. Now they are completely bare. They kind of look sad there in the front yard with bare branches. Feel free to post pictures of the trees in your yard. Are they bare yet? We also have evergreens and other plants that don't shed, but the dogwoods look so sad to me. Let's see your photos. I hope my photo won't go sideways but it probably will.

The rain we had last week pretty much knocked most of the leaves off. I was freally enjoying them too.

You have sure improved alot since your surgery. I remember you would email me and have to go lay down. Couldn't set up at the computer for long. The trees here are nearly bare of leaves. Afew still left. The lawn maintenance guy was here this week again to clean up the leaves. Every week now they have been here cleaning the leaves up in the yard. I dont' have any way to take any pictures. We used to have a dogwood tree. They are so pretty.

The azaleas have such vibrant colors. I like the magnolia trees. They look like tulip bushes. Glad you are doing so much better. Don't over do though okay?

I love magnolias too. We had 2 at our other house. We have dogwoods, crape myrtles that resemble lilac trees. And we have the evergreens and maybe a few maple trees. I think they are maples. The leaves look like it. There is a baby tree growing in the lawn. I figure it might have been planted with bird droppings. It's about 2 feet high now.

Yep I'm so much better now than a few months ago. I was surprised to not get winded. I am using my phone to mylot most of the time. I watch Netflix while chatting it up with everyone. Dogwoods are so pretty. We have pink and also white flowering trees. I live it when the azaleas are in bloom too.

Well, a lot of the trees around here, unless they are pine are bare now or almost bare. It is that time of yr. actually. I like when they are more the autumn colors like they were just a couple of weeks ago. But come spring all the trees will be in bloom again and that is a Welcome sign.

Of course we are the opposite to you regarding the seasons so I hope it's OK for me to respond. It may be the beginning of summer but we've had no significant rain so are suffering drought conditions and combine the lack of rain with fierce hot winds and the garden looks terrible. Even the weeds are dying. The huge back yard where the goats live is like a dust bowl. I am looking daily for rain.

It's great that you are doing so much better now. Keep up the great work! I live in the North, so the trees are definitely bare here. With the obvious exception of the evergreens, they have long since been bare. I think that most, if not all, were completely devoid of their foliage by the first day of November.

Hi Wilsongoddard. Wow! We has leaves still in November because it was warm still. We have lots of evergreens too. Our little wood lot in the back is so bear we can almost see the road that passes through back there. I sure did enjoy the walk too. I wore my Delta State winter hoody that my daughter gave me that us too big on her now. I was comfy for the walk the whole time. I want to go again in a day or two.

PQ, seems like you will need to get active, if possible plant some beautiful flowers in your front yard, to beautify it. As for my area here, most of the time it is my father who maintain the front and back yard of our home. So, he won't feels bored, since nowadays he is quite free. Hope you will be able to start do some flower planting in future.
