I love the comedies form the 80's and 90's. Just have finished watching a few with my beloved. "Breakfast Club," "Only The Lonely," and Robin Williams' "The Bird Cage" and "Mrs. Doubtfire" were our choices. Re-watching them since so many years ago was a great bliss. Real humour, smart word-choice, no stupid stuff (like a lot of comedies from the present time or after 2000's). Another choice of mine would be "Dazzling Saddles." Perhaps, some other older comedies form the 60's and 70's. Care to share your choices? What do you prefer on a rainy day?

I also love old comedies. I hardly laugh at films, but there were some that really had my humour. I especially enjoy Woody Allen's movies and those with Marilyn Monroe. I also find really entertaining some black and white comedies from the 30's. Ninotchka and It happened one night come now in my mind. The Bird Cage was soo hilarious and smart. I didn't saw the others you mentioned.
