plan for bad weather

I hope that you were able to make good use of your day today and prepare everything you needed to for severe weather. We do not have any in the forecast. This winter has been much too calm and dry here. Be safe Pat and take good care of all of you.

We have had only one day of snow so far this month, touch wood, now apart from Christmas Day that is the only day I want to see snow. It seems when it snows everything grounds to a halt, although we do have gritters that go along the main roads, we don't live on a main road so getting out is always a problem. I use my car twice a week to go to the gym and I use the bus twice a week, if it snows I will rely on the buses and leave my car, it's safer too. I hope we don't get any real bad weather, I hate being stuck in or snowed in.

Well, some areas are starting to get the cold snowier weather as it is that time of yr. It does make it hard to get around no matter where you are at, so I can understand you wanting to get things done now. They have been having snow around here in the higher elevations, and not looking forward to if it ever drops down.

The month of December is always wet season here. I don't mind the heavy downpour but if the rain is followed by strong monsoon wind then it could cause a lot of havoc to properties. I hope the weather is good during Christmas.

Hi savypat, I wish I'd gotten into yoga when I was younger as I've heard so many good things about it. As for the weather, we have snow too but we can still get out around and we haven't had any power problems so far. Blessings.

we are having some bad weather here in Mexico this week as well. Cold, winds and rains. problem here is with just alittle rain the streets flood. And many people dont know how to drive in the rain here. its a shame. Take care there.

You will probably laugh at me with my plans that I have when there is going to be bad weather, but I'll share it with you anyway. My plan is that whenever there is any kind of snow that is predicted in our area, I'm not going to leave the house at all if it is possible. The reason that I won't leave the house when there is snow is because of the fact that everyone around here thinks that when it snows, it is the perfect time to drive like an idiot.
