The end of the World

If the world really was going to end on 21st December, as allegedly predicted by the Mayan calender, how would you spend your last day?

I think I would spend my last day just like I would any other day! I would pay no attention to the media or all the hysteria, but be with my family in peace, happy that we are together!

I am glad that none of us are taking very seriously the possibility of the world coming to an end in two days time! If I knew this was the last day of the world then I think I would want to sit very quietly in the middle of nature and just love and admire the wonder of creation and mourn its passing.

Imjust cannot think that the world will "end" in one day. It just doesn't seem feasible. However, I'll play along. I'd gather my fur babies around and give them treats and cuddles and I'd lie down and read in between times.

Still now I did not think about the end of the world. For the last time by the end of 2010 I had heard the same news but nothing did not happen. I had dreamed about the last day of the world but this time I am not going to become fooled. It is god who decides when we have to leave from here.

If this theory of the end of the world is scientific in nature, why NASA couldn't explain it? A lot of people in the whole world are waiting for this. Some are afraid and some are excited. But for me, this is not the end of the world. This is only one of the false predictions that happened in the past.

Ironically on the 21st which is a Friday I have my last counseling session before Christmas. Personally I will be glad when Saturday 22nd gets here and we can put the fallacy behind us and get on with enjoying life and seeing in 2013.

not going to happen. The bible says God never told is going to tell humans when the end will come. Even if it were who really wants to think about what they would do to spend their last days. People probably wouldn't make wise decisions.

What I have heard is that the text written about this actally reads that the world is to end 'as we know it' so that leaves alot to be said. If it were to end December 21 I would want to spend that day with my family going over memories of our life.

I am not worried the world will end on December 21th. So many people have gottan paronoid and scared about this! It is ridiculous! No one can predict the end of the world except God Allmighty! when that happens only He knows.

The Mayan calendar is just a media thingy. There's nothing to it. You can read about it here: http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/2012.html but to answer your question, if we knew that the end of the world was close I'd try to do everything to make sure my family and I would be able to survive, i.e. trying to find a safe place (unless that would be Antarctica lol). I've even thought about flying with a hot-air balloon in case of tsunamies. I won't get on a plane because there won't be any place to land if the surface of the Earth was destroyed. After the cataclysms are over it would be a daily fight of survival for everyone. We'd all have to start from scratch again.

I dunno why people are always predicting the end of the world. They must enjoy everything in life even without thinking on how the universe will end because only spiritual beings know that.

The Mayans never predicted that the world will end December 21, 2012. That is from false interpretations. Bit rather there will be a spiritual shift, evolution in human consciousness. To answer your question, IF it were true, I would spend the day with my family in public with anyone else that would want to join to just sit around and enjoy one another's company. One of my favorite articles on this subject is at www.maya12-21-2012.com/2012shamans.html

Since we don't have a day off, so I still have to go to work at that time. I think it will be ridiculous if I have a day off work because it is the end of the world. The boss must think I am crazy. But I will still try to go home soon after work. At least I want to spend my rest time with my family. There is nothing special for me to do except for that. If it it really the end of the world, I can't do anything to stop it. So I will just spend this day peacefully with my family.

Just hanging out and watching all the people run crazy. I don't believe it will end and I'm not worried about when its really going to end. I think its funny that people worry about that kind of stuff but then I have to think they probably don't know more than they want to about God so I just have to laugh. Its just another day to me but I'm sure somebody will do something stupid so they can be remembered for a day that everybody will forget anyway.

Jesus Himself has said that no one knows except the Father however supposing that you know it would be your last day, then I'll do what i think is best, pray for eternal salvation.

No one knows the time when the world will end but we are supposed to be ready always by doing what is right living every day to the best of your ability so that the last day is never a scary experience but one we can look forward to.

I would spend my last day with my family, because my family is very important to me. We would probably talk about life, what have we achieved, and what would have we wanted to achieve.
