Pretty Rough Night...

We were over my mother's house tonight and found out my aunt just died tonight so were making funeral arrangements and such... Then my mother tells us that she had a mammogram today and the doctors saw something they didn't like so they sent her for a sonogram. They found something massive in the side of her chest. We will find out the results for that in a week or so... My great grandmother died of breast cancer so naturall we are all pretty worried about it... Please pray for our family. Or send good thoughts for those here who don't pray. I know I can count on all of my friends here for good wishes...

My heartfelt sympathy for the untimely demise of your aunt. I know it is hard to celebrate Christmas when your loved one would not be able to spend it all with you. I am hoping that whatever the doctors may have found out from your mom would be easily cured with proper medications. Having that kind of cancer in your family is something that you have to deal with. And maybe you would also want to have a mammogram as well, just to be safe. Early detection is the best thing to do.

Thank you so much jenny. Yeah the Holidays is a hard time to lose family especially. Yes I will be getting a mammogram also because I am now worried too. It is something that runs in the family so I want to be safe than sorry...

I don't pray, but I do send good wishes for a happy outcome. The medical profession have made great advances in the treatment of cancer, but they still can't cure all unfortunately. Hopefully someday, as it is a nasty disease.

Thank you! =) I appreciate the good wishes. I know they cannot cure all and that is what worries me... I am just hoping she doesn't have cancer at all but we should be finding out soon.

We are sorry to hear about your aunt's demise. May her soul rest in peace. You need to worry much about your mother's sonogram's results. Every disease is curable now a days. You should hope for the best and should not clutter your mind with negative and worrying thoughts. God is great, have faith on Him.

My condolences on your aunt's passing. I hope that things are okay with your mother. As has been mentioned, the presence of that something does not necessarily mean that she has cancer. There may be a more innocuous explanation as to what is going on.

Regardless of what the results are, it may be beneficial for her to take a look at foods such as garlic that can help prevent cancer. It isn't a guarantee, but it is something that one can do to try to protect oneself. Good luck to your mother.

It really was a hard night. The only thing we can do is pray that your mom does not have cancer and hope that its nothing important. I pray everyday for our family. Hopefully this prayer will work out good.
