Happy Holidays

May the holidays be special for all of you whether your traveling or staying home. We will be traveling a short overnight trip and then be home for Christmas this year. I'm going to be baking lots of treats including cookies, brownies, loaves of bread and some pies this weekend. What about you will you be baking, singing holiday songs or traveling? Have a safe holiday and happy new year.

I will be here....and tomorrow my son and his family will be coming to celebrate. Today I baked peanut butter cookies with the hershey's kisses...banana bread and a custard pie (my son's favorite) I also have done sugar cookies...pumpkin bread and one candy...chocolate covered peanuts! I did quite a few crafts including bagging up a package of hot chocolate with a candy cane then stapling them shut and dressing them up with a top hat! They are so cute!

The top hat packages would be cute. We did make banana bread, lots of cookies and 2 large cakes this weekend. Now we need to frost them. I think my favorite that we made is gingerbread, as really love the smell. Thanks for posting and have a wonderful holiday.

Well, my sister, brother-in-law, and newly adopted niece Amyra are coming to visit my parents tonight. They'll stay until Sunday afternoon and we'll have our Christmas. They can't be here on Christmas Day because my brother-in-law is on call and he has to be available on Chistmas Eve and Christmas Day (they live 3 hours away). But on the actual Christmas Day I believe my parents will be going to visit my dad's family. There are so many of them they rent a community center.

Thanks for the reply. Your family will be very busy this year. We have been invited to a street party on Christmas Eve, so will see many of our neighbors this season. Have a great holiday.
