Expression of the face

Face is the mirror through which you can see some one’s heart. Expression of the face can be seen by everyone. Many people often feel something but express something else; they mean something but say something else. So learn the art of saying nothing in such a way that it leaves nothing unsaid. It is important because the expression of the face can be seen by everyone, but the depression of the heart can be seen and understood only by very few. Do you agree with me; do you feel depressed for any reason? Please respond and share your views. Thanks in advance. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . 21/12/2012

At this moment, I have outgrown and overcame with my depression. I always wanted to see what is outside the fence. I was so scared to step outside because I was afraid that I might not be able to survive, I was afraid that I might get drowned. But having inside this fence made me feel miserable and lonely causing my depression. I came to a point that I just eat in order to survive the day. But I always look outside, and see others who are enjoying what life is offering them. I thought, if they can why can't I? We are not different after all. So I took a courage, the inhale deeply and bravely leap as high as I can to be able to get out of this fence. I set myself free. Now, I know what it is the life out of the fence. Hmmm... ok to elaborate, I was stuck with my previous job causing me miseries and loneliness and depression, because I was not given the proper credit for the job I was doing. I got so depressed that I just go by to live and get salary. I was not happy. The fence... the big barrier between should I live my comfort zone or not. I don't know if I quit will I be able to find good job? Will I survive as I have people depending on me too. I have responsibilities. though, I was not satisfied with the treatment from the higher people, at least I was in my comfort zone, because I can work with just my USB in my hand and I can do my job even if I closed my eyes. I was really envious of those who quit before and had happier career, though some were not successful, too. I took a big leap (I quit). Now that I am at the other side of the fence, I found more challenges and more excitement. In other words, I am happy.

I was in that situation years ago when I was working in a company. At firts it's ok, but later on when staffs that are handling us have no experience in production and the rules they're implementing are base on their theories, it became hard for the workers. I have doubts on surviving if I quit this job but then everything became worse and feels like I'm drowning and can't breath. Then I gave them a que that I want to quit. At first it was hard to survive since it was very different from what I used to. But I was able to move on and things went well.

I agree with this 100% Professor. Listening with the eyes is much more accurate than listening with the ears. I know of someone who says such mean things, but when you look at him, you just melt! His eyes are the windows to his soul and the love and affection in those eyes don't match what comes out of his mouth. I'm not depressed at all, I have hit a few rough patches these last few years, but I am working through them and I know everything will be alright, better than alright. Wise words my friend, very wise.

Yeah If you look into one's eyes and ask some thing, he she fails to lie; but habitual or professional liers are so different

Psychologists have a technique that they can tell if someone is lying just by making eye contact with that person. Many employers use this technique too.

You are right, they have so many years of practicing their lies, they begin to believe the lie themselves. That's where we need to bring in a lie detector, although those sometime are inaccurate.

hi, yes i will agree with you,the feeling we have in our self will reflect to our face, when we are angry we can see in the face of a person and even in a happy person too,but there are some people who can hide what they feel especially those broken hearted people.

I do not agree. Some people are naturally more expressive in their faces than others. Other people can use their expressions to their advantage like a mask. One's facade does not always express the way someone feels. It can in fact look the exact opposite of their thoughts.

Anyone can fool someone by wearing a different expression in their face but think or feel differently. There are talented people who can do this, and there's a lot of them even outside the showbiz career. Unless there is someone who knows you better than anyone else around and feel the difference in you. Like my husband, he can feel the sadness I feel no matter how I try to look happy.

I don't agree with you. Many people do wear masks. They are raised always to smile, never to show what they really feel (or to say), to swallow... the face will tell you nothing. Also... it's very dangerous to say the face is showing the heart. There are plenty of people who do have less mimic (for example because of nerve problems, skin problems, etc) and there face is not saying anything about their real feelings as well. No I do not feel depressed, should I? And if it comes to depressions.. a real depression can always be seen, you can also hear it on the sound of the voice and feel it in the athmosphere. If it comes to a real depression there are so many signs you really must be blind, deaf and stupid if you can't see that. It's way more about not wanting to see it, to get involved into it.
