I just want to say its 7:46 in California and we are still here. We did not fall into the ocean and we are not swimming with sharks. All though I think that would be pretty cool because I like sharks that aren't all about taking peoples money. At least these sharks just want to end your life as quickly as possible. Anyway I am pretty sure the world is safe until Mother Earth decides different.

There really are times when I wish the opening poster had the power to delete responses. Quel dommage.
Bones, I often use the metaphors of sharks or wolves to describe that proportion of the population which are probably best described collectively as predators. As you say, rather swim with sharks (or lie with wolves) than to fall into the clutches of the human predators. Bring back the cash economy!

I'm enjoying the apocalypse. I got flurries-nice, tiny ones, the kind that sit on your hair; my dishes at the bid board didn't have any more bids; and I took the dog out three times without falling tonight!
All I need is some liquor and I'd be the happiest unemployed person in town!

I've been amazingly busy getting all the legal and practical matters out of the way for our move to Tasmania, including buying a house rather sooner than we had originally planned, and the only reason I'm here at all is that I've been extremely efficient lol and actually have a little spare time. I'm ready to pack the trailer and we don't actually move out for another 18 days.
I don't have to worry about Xmas shopping, since we don't do Xmas other than a ritual exchange of gift cards between very close relatives - three in all lol - and we do that on line.
One shopping day left - you'll have fun.

As a non religious guy I knew it! Now there's a new hoax (read it on FB) NASA Breaking news. We'll be left in ttotal darkness dec. 23 till 25. So that will start tomorrow. Now guess from what corner almost all replies came?? Never understood why people believe that b**lsh*t. And of course they're the first to thank their god for saving them!!! D'OHHH!!!
