I bought some aftershave for my FIL via their site. Well I tried to return it as the pkg was damaged and leaking. Well it's considered bio-hazard and can't be returned. So they sent me an e-mail a few weeks ago prompting me to return my purchase. I'm thinking WTH? I can't send it back to you people you won't let me. So chatted w/ a rep, sent me a e-mail saying I don't have to return the damaged item. Lowe and behold guess what I get again? Another notice saying I need to return the item. I"m just annoyed. Do I bother contacting them again for something they were to of already resolve? It's still in a box with duct tape on the crack and in a gallon zip bag. WWYD?

I would copy the e mail that says you do not have to return the product and paste it into an e mail to the people who are on your case to return it with a little note. It probably is an automatic e mail that is prompting you to return it.

You are right Garden GErty...do this and see what happens. Most return emails are automatically generated based only on the subject you choose. I'd also call and try to get a human being on the other line...and see what they say...tell them your story and include the part where is says not to return it....offer them a picture but nag nag nag...that squeeky wheel gets the oil and many a time I have done this...and finally got satisfaction. Shame that customer service is the low rung on the ladder these days.

Do the chat option with them. The reps are often great and understanding. I bought a desk that broke the same day and my computer broke and wanted to return the desk. After stating I am not shipping it back as its that broken and I am not wasting my time they refunded me in full right away for the purchase.
Try your luck and if they keep bugging you opt for the ziplock bag.
P.S. for cologne and perfume try perfuma

Yup....another way to get the consumer. They know you can't return it. I never order anything liquid to be shipped. My grandson is in the army and he requested laundry detergent sent and so I tried to send some to him....well I ended up packing it three times before they accepted it so now I won't even try. It's too much of a hassel....so I hope you get your money back or a replacement.

Like Gerty said, I would copy/paste the email saying you don't have to return it. Then I would take a picture of it and send it to them. Then if that did not get results I would tell them I'm lodging a complaint with the BBB as well as spreading the word on the internet about their horrid customer service if they don't refund the money or replace the product, whichever you want.
They should be filing a claim with UPS or whoever delivered the package. I would think they'd want pictures and such. Sounds to me like they are just a rotten company that is trying to get out of replacing the product or refunding your money.
