There is a story about a kind of spinach seed and palm tree. One day, that spinach seed said to the palm tree, "I'm worried because the wind will blow. Let me stay around your trunk." "Stay as long as you like," replied the palm. Not long, that palm that has forgotten about that little guest. However, the seed does not remain silent in there. A few years later he began making its roots under the skin and into the core of the palm trunk. Finally, the palm notice. "Hey, what are you doing?" he shouted. "I'm just a small fry who you allow to rest around your trunk great." "Get out," insisted palm. "You are now too big and strong." "I can not leave now," said the spinach. "We have grown together and I'll kill you if you try to be parted from me." Palm make every effort to wiggle himself, but to no avail. Finally, his beautiful leaves turned brown and his stalks withered. But the spinach still stay and live up until his host was not seen again.
The moral of the story : Such a result would happen if we gave the opportunity to sin to live within us. What really the best is to flatly reject their temptation. No bargaining, compromise or doubts. This is the attitude of a Christian who is looking for victory over sin.

This is a nice story, but I think there should be some shades in the moral. Everybody except Jesus is a sinner, nobody can avoid all sins. You can avoid a small one, on the logyc of the story, but let go another one, bigger, like the proud to be almost a saint.

That's right, however my point is don't let a sin which since you think it's small, you still let it to enter your life, because it might destroy your life without you realize it until it's too late. It's different if you fall in sin because every humans will sinned however it's different if you let a sin in your life in purpose since you think it's small.

We all are human, almost always ready to make mistakes if we do not keep our values grounded. The story you shared is true, yes for the people who have always allowed a sin or two to be within their lives thinking that one or two sins won't hurt... but everything starts small... and before the host, in our case us... our bodies we have already succumbed to the sins and unable to break free from it... sometimes few are lucky to have made their way out of such sins that has burrowed in our skin, sometimes too deep that even our own soul is lost to the sin of the flesh.

I love your story about sin and how insidious it is and how much damage can be done before one realizes that the little lie that they gave room to grew into huge deception. I remember all the fables that we were taught as children that had morals and the teaching of good as a theme of the book. We learned not to steal, not to lie, not to cheat, and to do good to others through these stories as children. The Bible I read says that you must stop the sin when it enters into the mind as only a tempting thought. The Bible suggests that we should not entertain that thought, but to cast away the imagination. This means that before we act on the thought and sin, that we should nip it in the bud. I hope others share their stories how they are taught about sin and how they teach their children. It will be a fascinating read!

I think human beings are born to make mistakes and commit sins. No human being is perfect. Angles are the one who do not commit sins. That's why God created us. A human being can commit as many sins as he likes but if he apologizes to God only once God forgives him for all the sins he committed. On saying this it does not mean that we can commit sins every time we want and then apologize and then it will be all fine, absolutely not. We have to do our level best to stay away from sins. We will be asked about every sin we commited on the day of judgment.
