Do You Listen Music while You Drive Car?

I love hearing old hindi movie songs of 1960-1980, even now i am hearing the song by Lata Mangeshkar, i have stopped driving these days, my son drives when we are out, but the music player plays music/songs at low volume while on high ways.

I listen to music while traveling from one place to another in a car, but I don't drive a car as I don't know how to drive. While I ride my electric bike, sometimes I listen to music all the way to my destination either in the town center or on the way home. Music is something that offers us a lot of pleasure. I am not really into driving. I want a good music but you to focus on your driving to avoid accidents.

I have no car but notice whenever goes in car with relatives or if my FIL hire the car for going somewhere then the car driver starts the tape and every hear the songs. I like old songs.

Hi aminul. Well I totally agree with you on the fact that music takes out the montonousity that settles out due to the long journeys and helps in keeping up the concentration. But one should listen using only stereos and avoid using ear phones or head phones at any cost. If one wears them, they will not be able to the sound of traffic which is dangerous not only for your own health but also for the health of other travellers. Yes most definitely. I can't imagine driving in silence, it would be so incredibly boring! I always have to have a mix CD or my iPod plugged into my stereo in my car otherwise...I think I would start to go completely crazy.

I listen to music almost all day and while driving is the most important. It can be very boring especially if you do not have passengers with you. I don't know what I would ever do without music. Probably why I work in the music industry also.

Yes, we also listen music while driving. Especially my hubby is driving for hours going to work. It helps him awake and focus in driving while listening. And its our hobby too. There's sometimes when we just don't have anything to then we'll just listen to music :)

I totally agree to this.Driving without music or similar things would make driving monotonous.I too like to drive with music.And as you correctly pointed out, it gives me enthusiasm although not sure on concentration.But it soothes the driving pressure or any other boring things.I do not keep the sound too loud.I keep it at normal sound mode and ok to drive in that fashion.I also do not want to divert my attention of driving while listening and completely into the song.That too could be dangerous.So normal mode is most preferred.Again, music while driving also makes it more enjoyable and comfortable. Atleast i have felt it in that manner and i believe many would have felt in that manner as well.But there has been rare instances where i have drove completely without music and with no other passenger.I guess the mind should also be fine while driving and listening to song and not too pressurized with other things. And I also listen to music in my free time and whenever i am bored or excited.It really helps me a lot.Thanks!

I may not be driving while listening to music but I do listening to music when in car or any transportation. Especially, when listening to Michael Jackson's music because he is the King of Pop :)
