How Can People Start So Many Discussions?

and take time to respond back to them while giving a Best Response? Do they even take time to try and respond back, or what? And then do they ever check out and respond back to what others are posting here, especially some of their friends who are responding back in theirs. Personally I am having troubles keeping up with the discussions I have started here as it is, and wished there was more time in most of my days to keep up here more than I do. I could never go thru here starting more discussions than I do and keep up. I am so far behind as it is, but do try and respond back when I can. Do you start a lot of discussions? Can you keep up with all of them, or are you always behind wondering how others can start so many discussions in here and keep up with them as well? Have a wonderful weekend. ~~TINA~~

from the looks of your scores, it seems like you are doing just fine. i don't think anyone can keep up with each one of their discussions. maybe if you tried, you could set some kind of time interval, where you check back to you profile page every couple of minutes. this is to see who all responded to your discussions and post. hope i helped some.

Well, I do take a lot of my time in here to respond back and resolve some of the discussions that I have started, hoping to eventually be able to resolve more of them as well. It is a challenge but I am trying to get them done as I can.

I think it is hard to reply back all the responses we get on the discussion we started.

Yes, it can be time consuming the more responses you get back and there are times the answers may not be ones you can respond back too, but I do what I can as I have time.

I have made more discussions than usual lately and I am also having a hard time catching up with it. I am trying very hard but I did too much I think. So, hopefully nothing else will happen that I need to vent about before I can catch up with the rest of what I wrote! Although there is one more thing I want to write about...maybe I will wait a little while so I can catch up! Lol.

I hear you there and have things I will probably be posting about more here soon. I just need more hours in a day not counting work and sleep.

In my previous discussion I already explain why I don't like to post volume of discussions if I cannot return back those comments leave by my friends. Based on my observation, the earnings can only increase if you constantly interact with your responder.

That is so true. Even when it comes to just responding back even in my own discussions like now, that I have started when I am tired it is hard to think of the appropriate things to post, so I usually wait and come post again later.

Yes, that is true. I know many times I am so busy it is harder to keep up and then other times am here quite often. I am still limiting the amount of discussions I start so that I can hopefully keep up more.

When we are feeling tired we cannot think more ideas that we're going to post everyday. But if everything is Okay, even a single glimpse of our eyes we can think quickly ideas that we can share to others

hi tina Happy New Year Yes I have often wondered as lately I have started more than I am used to and am again behind so have to keep at it and get all commented o n as I do feel its rude to ignore my responders who are my friends too.Friends on my mylot list and friend in the community here too

Yes, and I often hope people never think I AK ignoring them because I do not respond back in all the discussions all the time. I am actually quite behind with a lot of them and getting back to them as often as I can. I feel responding back to all of them is more personable and personally the only way to go.

I have ran into this problem and usually if a lot of time has passed I will just skip it and not reply back to them but also I do try to get to them at a later date when I have more time and sometimes that will bring in more responses for you to reply to later. no matter how much time I have I try to take my time and make sure it is a quality response I would rather reply to less things as long as my quality is still good I will still be earning. everyone does things diffrently but right after I post a discussion I check back after each response I post to something else while I as m and if I have comments I go ahead and reply to them to try and avoid me getting to far behind because it can become over wielding sometimes.

Yes, it is interesting, or then you see them choosing a Best Response without really taking time to respond back. I find taking the time to respond back when I can of the discussions that I choose to start here makes it more worth while.

Well, as you have probably noticed, my time here is quite limited at times, but I do try and respond back to everyone usually who takes time to respond back in a discussion that I have started, so that is hence the reason for not posting too many at any one time. But if it is worth responding back too, it is always worth it.

my time is also very limited at times also because I am using a kindle fire but I am trying to keep up and get back to everyone. I do agree tho I have watched some people post about 10 discussions and I wounded where they have the time then I notice they rarely make it back to respond back.

Nah. I cannot always keep up with them even if im a new user at mylot. Although everytime i log in there will be intersting discussions happening all around mylot. Normally i just respond to those discussions i find intersting and not try to keep up and go at my own pace.

Yes, that is for sure. By the time you just try responding back in one interest catagory to interests you are interested in there is like another 10 or more new discussions someone else had started in here. I know I can never keep up even if I had 24 hrs in a day but sometimes, it would sure help.

We'll, it is true there are a lot of people here who do start a lot of discussions here. I often wonder how they find the time to and ever respond back to them as well. Personally I think it is more important to respond back to others discussions they have started a little more than actually starting so many discussions of their own.

There are many times I have been known to use WiFi somewhere like at a restaurant, coffee shop, etc just to have a few extra minutes to post in here, or post back from my phone when I am not at home. But I understand being so busy sometimes you have little time to post. Happens to me all the time.

I don't start many discussions because I know that if it piques the interest of more than a couple of people, I'll have a lot of work ahead of me! Especially since some of them to turn into conversations with a lot of back and forth posting. I enjoy it but as you said, it takes time. I don't know how people do it. They either must have the time to spend posting or be very mobile and can post anywhere. I've seen a some discussions started that have replies but no responses from the one who started the discussion. I tend to avoid these because without interaction, they are boring. I hope you have a good weekend, too. I'm staying home as we got snow Wednesday and it started again last night. I'll stay warm and enjoy the beautiful sights without fighting it on the roads.

Well as many people know ... One of the main reasons I do not start more discussions than I do here is because of the limited time I have to be here. I just hope people do realize that I do respond back even if it takes me a while tp respond back in here, I will respond.

I think that's because they have plenty of time to spend here in mylot. I create discussion once to twice in a week only because I can't keep up if I make this everyday. I can see some who start discussion two or more topics at a time. I wish I could do that too.

I agree. There are people who can spend hours online and therefore can be logged in on mylot for many hours. This could give them time to begin a lot of discussions and respond to so many. They also may find time to read every response their discussions get. But such people who read the responses on their own discussions are very few.

Actually, I do not post discussions often. I would just be responding to discussions most of the time. I know a few who are really actively posting everyday and I know that they spend a lot of time in being here at Mylot. They do respond back to some of those who responded to their discussions. And I do envy how much they could do in a day!

I used to start 10 or even 15 discussion in a day too. However, they are thought of separately and was jot down in a pad, when there is time. By the time i open Mylot, i copy and paste them, simultaneously in 5 windows. Thus, they are posted almost one after the other. And once all posted, i respond to others' discussion first and come back to my started discussions once i see that there are answers already. The next day, i would open Started button to see if there will be new responses so i could answer back. But as to giving Best Response, i usually would go back to them , maybe 2 or 3 months after.

It really would be nice to be able to do more, and one day hope I can. But since I work full time, etc. there are many days and times where time is really limited.

Tina, I always try to respond to everyone who comments on a discussion I start. I do, though, normally rely on email notifications and checking new discussions frequently. What I'm bad at is commenting on all my friends' discussions. Because my time is so limited now, I normally check the last few emails about friends' new discussions and respond to those that interest me or have the least responses. Sometimes there are some very good discussions I'd like to get in on, but I just don't have time to read three pages of other people's responses first, so I don't contribute, or I read a few responses and comment on one of them in the squares. I guess people are very busy during the holidays, since it seems most discussions I see have only a few responses, so that means I can comment even on some discussions that have been around a day or two. Happy New Year!

Well, as you very well know, my time on here most days is limited due to other things going on in my life, but I am trying to keep up as much as I can. I am also taking time when I can to respond back and try and resolve some of my older discussions here as well. But it is nice to be here when I can.

Hi KH! There are days when I cannot start new discussions because I have to give myself time to answer those who responded to my started discussions. Sometimes it would took me two days to answer all of them. I also want to give more time for my friends so I would be checking their discussions too. So I would usually start new discussions if I am already free. There are also times that even if I am already free yet I cannot think of a good topic so that is the time that I am searching for other activities herein. Happy new Year!

Happy New Year to you. I do agree a lot of the time I am busy in here anymore, is taking time to respond back to the discussions that I have already started in here, and trying and keeping up with some of the other great discussions some of my Friends are starting in here as well.

At the most I start one a week, usually it is more like one a month. I just do not think what I have to say is that interesting. I suppose it might be, but I am also reserved about what I share. I cannot really talk about work because of privacy issues. I try to keep up with commenting on responses, I do not always get the best responses given.

I do not want create many discussions here in Mylot because most of my discussions have been deleted. It might confuse myself if I created many discussions. I am keeping myself especially participation in responding other discussions. I can also answer back when they respond. So, keep in touch in Mylot.

Yes, it is interesting how many people continue to start a lot of different discussions out there and do have their discussions deleted all the time. But many times for most, it never stops them. For me I would rather be able to come back and answer them when I can then start a lot of New discussions and never take time to come back and acknowledge them.

Dear friend you jump on my topic because I am late hehe....yesterday I got email notification one person starts 71 topic I think you know who is the person. Then suddenly a question in my mind how can start lots of discussion in one day. I want to start the discussion on it but at the same time my bhabhi called me for playing the badminton and I close the mylot. Today I read your topic and I also think same how can start so many discussions. I not like this two or three is sufficient for me. Hmmm I also take more time for giving the BR because mostly forget whenever join mylot start comment on new topic or starts the discussion not check the unresolved discussions.

Yes, it is interesting how many times you will find someone starting a lot of New discussions here, and never take time to respond back in them, or check a Best Response, etc. and it makes you wonder why even respond. But then there are great discussions being posted here all the time you do not want to miss out on. For me, I find myself trying to catch up on some of the older discussions a lot of times before I start a New discussion or two. I feel even if it takes me a while, responding back in a discussion I have started is most important even when it takes me a while to do so.

You have given voice to my thoughts.I have the same problem too.I don't start many discussions at a time fearing if they extract more responses,it would be very difficult for me to comment back on all of them.Recently I had initiated a discussion that had drawn more than 40 responses.I had to comment back on all of them and it was not that easy. The problem with me gets multiplied by slow internet access in my area.Of course, initiating many discussions and commenting back on all the responses drawn by them increases our income here, but it is really a demanding task.

Well, as many including you I am sure have noticed, it takes me a while to get back in and respond back to everyone who posts back in any of my discussions, but I do make sure and take the time to resolve them. So if this means less time to start a New discussion, this is OK for me too.

Well, as you can tell, I do not always have the free time to come in and post back to discussions that I have started. Since my time is so limited since I work full time, and trying to get a space for my offline business it keeps me quite busy. But I am here as often as I can.
