Sorry buddy, never in my life I used any lucky charms to welcome a days or a year. I believe what is God given if you ask to Him.
Sometimes, you might think God didn't grant you the thing you ask but He only give you better than what you are asking.

My good luck charm comes in a 12 year old package and brightens up my days whenever she is around, no matter how depressed or stressed out i am , i just look to her and i feel better and lucky and blessed that i have her as my child to love and care for and yup, my daughter is my good luck charm

what most people say is this,just belief that you will get what you desire and it will come to pass,power of the mind and not mumbo jumbo hocus pocus...but within reason , if your mind desires something , somehow it will attract that thing to you just by visualizing that we will get it in our minds and totally believing in the image. reason it mostly doesn't work is because of doubts that it will come true...our mind power has to be the most underestimated force in known existence. feng shui to an extent works by reinforcing beliefs, by getting a person to totally belief without doubt that because of a object that has mystical power to give good luck, they will receive the luck. And coz the object helps remove doubt, then luck will indeed come coz the power of the mind wills it and the doubt obstacle is removed!

I do not have any feng shui beliefs. What I know is to increase your luck in 2013 is to pray to God. Of course, do the action and have a determination to achieve it. To increase luck depends on us I guess.

My sister in law who is married to a half-Chinese would often encourage me to buy certain stuff which they say could bring good luck to myself and the whole family. Well, I really do not believe in them, but I do buy them anyway, so as not to offend my sister in law. Coz I believe that whatever good thing that happens to us is because it is the outcome of something that we have done. And nothing could make things shift into a different path when a certain thing is bound to happen because of our actions.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Yeah. I also believe that we are solely responsible for our actions. But some of my relatives also believe in charms because they are still in the chinese heritage and belief. I just wanted to know some charms used by people here in mylot and I would just like to try if it works.

Yes everybody wishes to be lucky, in love or something else. A "charm" can be everything, it's just a symbol that keeps reminding you at your goal. So the power of positive thinking works if it comes to that or should I say: set a goal and be active and go for it!

RUbbing the head of a redheaded person is supposed to be good luck. Rabbit's feet are supposed to be also. THose are the only ones I can think of right now.

I wish to have a good luck charm too. I know there's such a thing as will, action, prayers, and grace but it is pointless praying if you have a certain subconscious programming that always set to expect failure. By subconscious I mean it's not as obvious to us but it drives us anyway no matter how much positive thinking we try to do. Another thing is life is just like a wheel, we go through cycles and favours may not always be on our side. So I understand your wish to have a lucky charm of some sort - it is meant to balance the energies in us so the flow of good opportunities is still with us.

It isn't just superstitious thinking. I mean there are outright superstitions but we also must know that we or everything is energy and we must learn basic ways to balance it.

hi,
before the end of the year 2012,i read some horoscope or Feng Sui about the 2013,it said that my sign is not that lucky this year but there are some things or they called it charm to fight this bad luck in me,i love to wear green emerald colors like earrings and bracelet because its a lucky charm color for the year and my birth stone too.

I think that keeps me believing in God alone anything so just I do not have any beliefs or rituals.

Hi jvincent! The only thing I have that concerns about luck is the Ang Pao given to me by my office mate last year. I remember that before the end of the year, I should have to transfer it to somebody else for the continuous flow of luck so I gave it to my husband. Just to follow my office mate's advice.

Ive never really ever believed in those lucky charms, I feel lucky in life to have a son that loves and cares for me. Thats all the luck I need.
