Marco is free run, he does tend to fling his hay all over the place. I will scoop it up and put it back in his dish.
I came home from work, to a bigger mess. I am not sure why he had so much fun. Normally he hops around, lays down on his cover, cleans his stuff cow, and listen to music.
He had flung all his litter all over the floor, he had moved the entire litter pan across the room, I have a tupperware contaner with their food in it he had moved it over (as I had it in the corner), he ripped a hole in the shavings bag, and had them all over the place, he got all his toys out, and had them all over the place, I had a box going to the shelter and he had swung the scoop I had for the litter into the box with the dust pan and broom which were in a dish in the corner.
He had his veggies all over the place, and his plate was across the room from where I set it.
I came home opened the door, and he was just lying to the side where he hadn't made a big mess, and just looking at me like idk what happened.
I spent the morning cleaning it up, and now washing his cover, and stuff animal.

Oh wow that sounds like a huge mess and I can see some of it in the picture you attached. Looks like a very pretty bunny though. It must have taken awhile to clean all that mess up. Thats really cool that you can let him run free though my rabbits werent trained so they would pee on the carpet :-/

He is full litter trained, so I let him free run. The odd time he will go outside the box, normally there is a reason. The other day not even thinking I had put a box down, and went to work. It was blocking the entrance to his litter pan, so he couldnt get in so he went infront of the box.
Took about an hour or so, because the litter was everywhere. He just sat there, and he knew he did something wrong.

I was really surprised it was nice lol!
December is sometimes these things happen especially when we hear a creature at home no matter whether it is a dog or cat.
I live in a house and in the yard we have two dogs, American Staffordshire Terrier and the Staffordshire Terrier Latvian male and female, and they also make a big crazy sometimes and this is something norlano.
I can say that sometimes I eat slippers when you leave them out now so get them home.
nice day!

Sounds like he had a party.
Maybe one of the cats slipped him some 'nip.

Well, obviously the other critters in the house. Maybe not the dogs, though.

The only thing that I can think of is perhaps he might have been lonely. I'm sure that you were at home a little bit more over the holidays and he might have gotten used to that and then he got lonely when you were not at home. Of course I could easily be totally wrong about that idea as well.
I really feel bad that you had to come home and have all of that mess that you had to get cleaned up.

Were there any fireworks going on that might have triggered his behaviour. Maybe he was bored? Bored animals tend to do things like this but it could also be something else. I hope he wasn't just partying by himself, haha. I have never heard of a rabbit doing that, I do hope it didn't leave a mess that wouldn't be cleaned up properly.

some bunny else did it?
I think that he's just being a teenager but I do have to wonder if he can feel the stress and tension from the house and this is his "outlet" / way of coping?
Animals can feel things like that.

He does like his catnip.
I wonder who he invited to this party without me knowing.

Wow. He really knows how to throw a party! He must have had a great time while you were at work. I think it's really cute and funny, but then, I didn't have to clean it up either.
