Ever went to see a movie that you didn't like?

Ever went to see a movie with your guy or girl friend and you just knew this movie was going to be the one, you just knew this movie was gonna be so so good, seen it on commercials heard people say it was good, then you went to go see and at the end you like what was this this movie was awful why why tell me why would I come see this waste of money right?

Yes, it has happened to me before. The situation comes like this - lots of commercials of a new upcoming movie that is going to be a blockbuster, based, for example, on a true story or a blockbuster, or will just represent the newest hit of a great celebrity or a director. So, I grab my hubbie and go see it. And what happens? Total disaster and disappointment. One of the titles that comes up in my mind, is Tom Cruise's "Collateral". I don't know about other people, this movie - I hated it.

No one is insured against that, unfortunately. That's why commercials are invented for :) To grab your attention and, in some cases, to deceive you to go a movie that's not worth seeing. You can't foresee which movie will be good, and which - bad. You just risk and go to the theater. Fortunately disappointments are not too many and still going to the cinema remains one of my greatest pleasures!

Hey Iva75cpb, thank you for your comment. i am sorry to hear that this same situation has happen to you. This is a shame that we spend so much money to go see a movie that we have high hopes in and it turns out to be terrible and then we don't get a refund or nothing just a ruin night or day in my opinion.!!!:)

Over the years I have seen several movies that weren't worth the high cost to see a movie. Its less likely to happen this year, as I can only afford to see the best choices and I ask and view many sites before even consider seeing a movie. My last viewed movie was The Hobbit and I enjoyed it.

Hi Fishmomma, thank you for your comment. I think that the movies need to lower there prices because it is just crazy, why so much ? What would make a movie that's about 2 hours long worth 15 something dollars it's not even worth my time, don't nobody got time for that.!!!:)

hey Burrito88, thank you for your response. i think that these are some reasons why people don't go anymore, I know that I don't go anymore, and I use to love to go, there was a time that the movies was my hang out spot. The movies was the place to be on a friday night but not nomore at least not for me.!!!:)

Hey Maezee, I think that you stated something so real, How is it that a movie ticket has went all the way to 15 dollars this is crazy. I remember a time when the movie ticket was way lower then this, this is a crime shame they just robbing us blind I am certain of this.

Sometimes trailers to movies can be so misleading. It seems so nice when you saw the trailer but the movie was so boring. It seems so exciting but the movie was so slow. This had happened to me quite a few times but that is the risk that you take when you go to watch movies.

Of course I will go to see the movie with my BF, because I think it is a chance for us to shorten the distance between us and i always regard watching a movie as a romantic thing. Because in reality, my BF and I don't go to the cinema for even once. It is a huge pity.

Hi Echo060201, I find that you going to the movies with your Best Friend is great, because they says that yall can spend some quality time with one another. Going to see a movie has always been a favorite place of mine, and seeing it with a friend is a plus, But the movies is just too much now.
