stray puppies

We have now settled the two puppies in an enclosure next to our four dogs. They have had two warm nights in a kennel lined with hay and four good meals. We had to remove them from the mother because they were getting big and wild, just like her. Also they are in need of veterinary care. We do not want to keep the puppies but we are going to feed them up, clean them up, get veterinary treatment and then hope that they will have more appeal. At the moment they sit deep inside the kennel and regard us with suspicion but they have quietened down and no longer try to bite. We think they will be friendly and approachable once they settle and feel secure.

Good luck with them, what kind of puppies are they?

I hope you find some decent people who will want to rehome them and give them the love and care they deserve.

Gee, you are very caring to those stray puppies! You feed them, clean them and get veterinary treatment for them! You certainly make them be friendly and approachable to people that might show interest in them! You are a very nice person!!

Strange. I have known puppies for being friendly right from the start, that is if you get fond of them, holding them at least a week after birth. By that, they would feel safe and wag their tails at the sight of you.

You have taken on quite a responsibility. Most people would have just taken these dogs to the animal shelter. I hope that these puppies do find good homes. I am sure by your care and love for these puppies, that they will indeed feel secure and loved, therefore becoming loving dogs. I admire your dedication and devotion to taking care of these dogs.

It was so lovely and kind of you to rescue the mother dog and her puppies. It was a shame you had to take two of the puppies away from their mother. They will benefit from vet care and settle down more easily now. Soon they will be looking much more appealing. Feeding them and getting vet treatment will really help those lovable puppies. Hopefully they will soon act in a friendly and calm way. Well done.

Awww, that's just so awesome of you to do. Poor little guys are probably so scared of people, and most of the time, the mother will teach them this. Can't blame her now, can we. I hope someone adopts them and gives them the love and care that you did. The more they're around people the better off they are. Maybe some pictures soon?

I hope you are teaching them to play and giving them cuddles along with the feeding and vet care. They need to learn that people are kind....well, most people. It's difficult to tame wild animals.

Approachable and friendly. I wish I could have a dogs. We live in an apartment and its Section 8. I hope you find homes for these pups. It is a big responsibility. I had a German Sheperd for nearly a year. I tried but I was in an apartment, had a full time job and no time to train it or spend much time with it. More of a cat person I guess.
