How to disable email notifications about what discussion friends started ?

Thank you for creating this discussion, as I was about to because I was getting emails about that too. And also, thank you cupkitties. :D I kept looking everywhere in my preferences and stuff but wasn't finding anything and didn't think it was possible.

Um wellll, I was gonna say the whole look under preferences and notifications bit, but I noticed I am still getting emails about discussions friends have made. If you look under friends there is a link next to each avatar that says notify is on, Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

hi boral1 simple you go to preferences and see notifications and then check the list for what you wish to not have and uncheck them or do what i hav e done m ake a special folder just for mylot notifications.

The easiest way to do it, is to go to your friends list, and turn the notifications off there. I have had to do that as I got way to many as well. I have a few new ones, I need to do that too, as well. When you go to your frineds list, there is a notification tab next to their username. Just turn the notification off, and you won't receive anymore emails from that friend. I hope this has helped. Take care and have a very good day.
