Is in my area.
Last week on monday,one of my friend who lives in hyderabad help me.She told me she will help me by sending some money to me,unfortunately i have no bank account so she send me a registered post along with money in it.
She told me i will get the registered post by friday or saturday but when i went to post office on friday to claim my registered post they asked to come on next monday as my post was'nt arrived on friday and saturday.Today being monday
i went to post office but yet now my registered is not arrived.
She told me i will get it by Friday or saturday but yet now my post has'nt arrived.
I have the registered post recievet no and adress but the post manager asked me there is no post arrived in this adress nor recivet no.
What should i do now,i need some money to pay for tablet and this is very tragic event.
Can someone help me why my post has'nt recieve yet,have you experience this.
I hope to get helpull response so that i can get my registered post without any delay.

Next time you should make bank account. You and your friend from same countries, right? It is dangerous send money using post because it is easily to lost. At here some post company say they can send fast some post but still slow and delay. I think in your case it is delay. Just be patient. I hope you receive your money.

Out here, we need a PAN card for opening a bank account. Not sure Admin has that. Moreover, there are many parts of the country that still do not have bank branches. Given these drawbacks, it is difficult to send monies. I also have the same suggestion as you. Be patient. :)

It is not same here we can make bank account without need anything. Just need i.d card and some bank need license car and motorcycle. I dont know about pan card but admin it is better if you have bank account.

I badly need PAN form to create an account with SBI bank.
I don't've enough money for that,i am wondering one day the poor will've nothing to eat.
The main problem now is we the Indians need PAN card to anything when we are going to apply for bank account,Credit card,debit card,PayPal and ect..,Also if i get the PAN form we have no offices to submit the form except online is possible.
The post office clerk also talked to me very rudely and boredom,i wish to punch them even with anger.Anyways may be i will get soon.I am still trying.

that s very risky it is not safer to send money through a mail except f that is a registered money so there is additional fees to pay. the mail is call as snail mail because it is too slow. besides those who work in the post office are sometimes corrupt they could sniff through ail parcel and packages if they are money so they sometimes stole if. if the letter is register a money send to you and not send as an ordinary mail. you could call or text your friend to ask what the date he send you, includes the amount of money and the registered number. if in case it send in ordinary mail you have little chance to receive it and maybe somebody get interested on the money that your friend send. so even if you have no bank account, the ext time he need to send it like a western union or money agency where you could claim rightfully.

Thanks for responding me,i doubt that i won't get the registered post as it contain money and as you said they the post office clerks are somtimes corrupt.
They are not sometimes but always corrupt in case of money,i wonder how to get back if i lost my registered post.
Still now i have not recieved.They always said your registered post has'nt arrived.

You should open a paypal account that she can send money to. My daughter and I have done that a few times. As for the post office I don't think they have anything like that here to get or give money.

I've a PayPal account but it's unverified so i can't recieve money.
The register post was send to me via mail van because i've neither bank account nor verified PayPal account.

I do understand your plight. I guess it is made worse by the holidays as of now. People will not return to working mood before two or three more days. This is a big festival Hyderabad has around this time of the year. Makar Sankranthi is a very big festival for us. It marks the start of Sun's journey towards the Tropic of Cancer. Harvest of the seasonal crop and thereafter spring and summer. Traditional stuff, but most people consider it auspicious. It is celebrated almost on par with Diwali here. In the North, people dont really value it as much, but out here, we do. So it is unlikely, much would move even if you were to give me the receipt number. However, I would try to help in the following week when the festive mood subsides and people get down to business. In the event you receive the post by then, we all would be saved the trouble, wouldnt we? :)

Yeps i agree we have festival these days but in my residence most are ''NAGAS'' christains and they don't celebrate festivals except their festivals.They are Barbaric people who only enjoy flesh and behave they are not Indians except nagas.,very rude people,i am in great agony,i don't now what to do,as elections is coming nearer and nearer and terrorist ie..alfa,UG are roaming out.
So i am more afraid to go out.
I went today being tuesday and also get the same answer,after wating for half an hour,the post manager said they will only be able to notify me as the owner if i recieve a call from them as a proof,so i left with dishearten.
Now i am only waiting for a call to recieve from post office to claim my registered post.That the only way they said.
I'll get only if they called me.

I think western union money transfer will help you in this.
Just tell her to go to post office and speak to officers regarding this.
If any complaint is possible , please take those steps also
