I'm a Chiense MTI student(Master of translating and interpreting), maily learning English-Chinese interpretation. As I'm going to graduate in six months, I'm thinking about finding jobs. My most desirable job is interpreter or translator in a foreign company, which my parents regard as temporary, part-time job; I also want to, and can be a English teacehr, for I have learned English teaching in college, and have the qualities of a good teacher. Company employee or School teacher? Can someone give me some suggestions or analysis? Or is there anyone who knows about or is looking for an interpreter? Many thanks!

Maybe you can do both. Be an english teacher, then be an interpreter at the same time as a part-time job. Well I can say that you are possessing a great skill, and you can surely find a good job for that. Good luck and have a great day!

Yeah, I'm also thinking about having two jobs! But that means I have to choose teaching to be my major job, or full-time job, and do interpreting in my spare time. It's great.

Well, for me I would rather be an interpreter or translator.Working in foreign company can be so challenging and promising, while being a teacher in a school may seems boring, because you have to repeat the grammar and words and passages over and over again.

Your word "challenging"and "promising" really make me want to give it a shot~ I love interpreting, but not quite qualified for that, for a good interpreter has to keep learning for a lifetime.
