If I am not mistaken, my kids adopted a kitten two years ago. They enjoyed playing and taking care of the kitten, but it ran away after a few days we were not at home. The kids have always been looking around and trying to look...

Sarahliuliwen You are such a considerate and tolerant parent! And the cat is so cute! If I were them I would consider adopting he/she too! But make sure that you take your cat for a proper bath and healthcare, and make sure your kids wash their hands EVERY time they touch...

In fact I always like to have a cat at home. We used to have two cats and a dog when we lived in a house. They died when they grew old. We live in an apartment now and therefore my dad doesn't allow us to have a pet at home....

Sarahliuliwen For me, things are a bit different. I live with my husband in our own house, and my parents rarely come to visit. But my parents-in-law often come and live for a while. I just decided that I would have a cat and took one home, without talking with them before....

Time runs so fast and my children are growing fast too. My daughter Rose and I were having dinner. I noticed that she gained weight. I brushed off the idea that she is pregnant. As a parent, we need to guide our children,...

Sarahliuliwen Wow, congrats! Maybe soon you will have many babies cats around! And do you know the babies may have more than one father? LOL! BTW can you deal with so many baby cats? If there are too many in your community I think you'd better take her for sterilization...

I always try to make sure that my dog's food is always suited to his breed's need, but every once in a while my dog eats human food (always limited, of course). In fact, some are healthy and I don't see any harm... However, I...

Sarahliuliwen I have a cat and I have to feed her human food, because she doesn't like her cat food anymore, unless I mix it with fish or meat. Maybe human food is more delicious for them so once you tried feeding pets your food, they would prefer your food and keep asking...

Yesterday I took a bus and saw the driver put the seat belt across his body, but he didn't fasten it or latch it to the seat. So technically it is no use, and the driver just did it to appear that he fastened the belt so that he...

Sarahliuliwen This is a very good question! English as a language is exerting a stronger influence on other languages, and to some extent it is a kind of dominance. Learning English, we must learn its culture as well, so how do we balance the two cultures, and avoid being...

I've inherited another piece of family history. It's interesting to find the value of a family antique but this time what I realized the story behind this piece was of more value than it's financial value. It was given to my...

Sarahliuliwen I agree. An antique is valuable because of the story, the meaning, and the tradition it carries. This is why its value grows with time going on. Financial worth doesn't grow, but value grows. I believe real antique-lovers are never willing to sell them....

Sarahliuliwen But it depends, as some friends of mine kept a diet and do exercises on purpose, and they could lose weight in a short time! I admire them, and maybe one day I could be as unremitting as them, who knows! Good luck! You'll find a way that suits you most!:)
