where did yahoo chat rooms go?

i'm not fond of joining chat rooms, dating sites or some sort of that but i once entered a chat room on yahoo out of curiosity. well, as far as i am concerned, it's not bad because i have met a very dear and nice friend from egypt there. but now yahoo had changed their features and they removed the chat rooms and i cannot understand why. did you also use yahoo chat rooms before? do you agree or disagree with yahoo's decision in removing the chat rooms?

Its been so long that I used the Yahoo chats, but I used to hop from different rooms and talk to people.

Yahoo chat rooms no more exist , yahoo have disabled the chat rooms option on Dec 14th of 2012 . They have their points to disable chat rooms " we have decided to discontinue several Yahoo! product features. This will enable us to refocus our efforts on modernizing our core Yahoo! products experiences and of course, create new ones ". So we can't do anything .Yeah i used to use chat rooms but from now no more chatting possible , pretty sad.
