There is a news about a car accident. The driver picked up the cellphone when he was driving. Since he had a cellphone with large size screen, so he had to use both hand to unlock the cellphone and then pick up the call. At that time it led to a car happened. I think it is wrong for him to pick up a call when he was driving. It has nothing to do with his large size screen cellphone. It is just an excuse.

I don't know why he want to blame the large size screen cellphone, he should blame the cell phone manufacturer for making a cellphone that can receive incoming call during driving, or the manufacturer of his car that fail to steer him out of the danger in time or even fail to give him a verbal warning or an instant message notifying an impending car accident. There are so many blames to go around in an accident, blaming a larger size screen is not a very good one in my personal opinion, May be he thought it is a good reason to cover his own fault since the large screen cell phone can not give a rebuttal against his claims.

Why blame the cell phone or the screen size? It is his negligence, better not to use cell phone while driving.

I am quite sure that it is just an excuse. Just because his cell phone is ringing, it does not mean he has to answer it. He should have parked the car, & then either answer it, if it is still ringing, or see who called & then call them.
in my area, it is against the law to drive & talk on the cell phone at the same time, unless you have the hands-free device that allows the driver to have both his hands on the steering wheel.
I almost got into a car accident with someone who was driving with one hand, & the other hand holding a cell phone to his ear. When I ended up next to him while waiting for the light to change so we can go, I turned up my music very loud.

WHen one makes a mistake, he might find any excuse he could to blame it. In fact, if he could be more careless, no accident would happen.
It is not supposed to make or answer a phone call while one is driving. It not only brings danger to himself, but also to his passengers as well.

It was only an excuse. He can buy Bluetooth headset so that in the time somebody calls him he can answer the phone without pressing the screen of his Cellphone. Latest technology allow us to use the service even with free hand. I think he didn't used his mind and never think the consequences of what he did.

lol just make you think what kind of a person he is, anyways he shouldn't be really picking up the call when he is driving, that is just plain simple.

It is really a wrong move. Good that he can still made that excuse. What if he was killed right away?

Whether the screen is big or not, dark or blinding, theres nobody to blame but himself. It is a no-no to use the cellphone while driving. If that call or text can't wait until you have reached your destination, it is much better to pull over and make or take that call. All it takes is a few seconds of distraction for an accident to happen.

You are right, friend, it's not the cellphone's fault, it's the driver's fault. He is a driver, he should know how it is dangerous to answer the phone during his driving. Even if he has a small size phone, if he did like that, he will have an car accident, too.

You're right, why blame the phone when it's his choice to answer his phone using his both hands, he could have chose to use a bluetooth or headset. Also, I'm sure he knows a lot of accidents happens while answering the phone but he still chose to answer, so basically it's his fault and not the phone.

right, i have also read the news as you mentioned, i'm sorry for this accident but if we think over the reason leading to this accident, it's for the driver who should not pick up the phone while driving as this is quite dangerous, bid screen for cell phones sometimes is also beneficial for users ,we could not get this lesson for the accident to one reason--cellphone for big screen, that's not fair.

Exactly. This has nothing to do with type of phone. It could have been the smallest phone ever or the largest phone ever. Do not blame it on the modification of the phone. Blame it on the carelessness for just taking up the phone. The phone is the issue not the modification of the phone.
