Well, she came over Tuesday late in the afternoon. Apologized to us and said she was feeling so stressed then. She said she had let go of her boyfriend and she looked really good. She is going to be staying with the freind of the family. So glad she is in out of the cold. It was -2 at one point last week. So that stress is aleviated. Feels good.

I am so glad that this has worked out well for you. I too, am glad that she is out of the cold mainly because you would have worried so much about her.

Yes, and for stupid reasons. She wanted to be with him and didn't want to be upstanding and get a job.

That's great she finally realized the situation she was in and got herself out of it. I hope she can start a new life and find a new man that won't put her out on the streets. Good luck to her.

Her choice to be with him. She got rid of him. He can sleep out in the cold.

Oh geez...she sounds just like my daughter when she was 17 through 22...it was a nightmare and all up & down..dramatics. I know I've read your past discussions but I have a bad memory and read way too many discussions on here to keep them all straight. It's tough when they are young. Hopefully she will outgrow this and good to hear that she has a warm place to stay. There does come a point where you just have to kick back and just go with it. I would never ever let my grandaughter be stuck out in this cold that we have been having but I also would not cater to her if she were acting out. I can be pretty tough but no one that I love ever ever goes hungry or cold if I can help it.

Most kids outgrow it. Its the time while they are that has its affect on me. Stress makes me sick.

It's good that she came to the realization that the boyfriend was just dragging her down. The fact that she came by to apologize is also a really good sign.
Perhaps, she is starting to mature and is realizing that she needs to do certain things if she ever wants any sort of decent life for herself.

She seems to go back and forth. Mature one time and very immature the next. This is one reason I can't trust her.

That is really good that she finally decided to dump her boyfriend. Now things could look better for her. It is also good that she is staying with a friend of the family, because -2 sounds really cold. Good to know though that things are looking good for her.

Yes, I think was good that she did dump her BF. Things are looking up for her and I hope she stays with the program now.
