Giving...it provides joy and comfort to the giver in question. When food is offered to a starved person the joy of the good deed done would linger in one's mind for long. When we get the impulse to give we should be letting out all that we could afford by way of giving. To give is to receive...by giving out what you can,you are indeed getting a lot of happiness in return. The saying holds much veracity in all living conditions and at all times.

Seeing the look on people's faces when we give is a great return. It does bring up happiness. It is good for our souls and helps our thought of ourselves too.

Sometimes we have no camera to capture those moments.

This is something that actually a lot of people out there never think about. They are often too worried about themselves, instead of wanting to help others, and they will never learn the good things. I have often found it is way better to give than to receive. Especially when you help out someone who is less fortunate. My husband and I help do the homeless ministry for our church, and go around giving out sandwiches and water and talking and praying with some of the homeless. It has really been a blessing, and god does help provide things we have needed along the way because of it.

I also think it is very good to give food to stave people and the people who are hunger. There are lots of people who die of starvation and does not have even food for one time a day. I think if all the people give the hunger people food most probably every one will have food all around the world. I also think it is good to give out things to the needy and poor people. I think there are lots of rich people in this world millionaires and billionaires and they should try to decrease the poverty of the world. It is greatest to give food to at least one hunger person.

I completely agree. I get so much joy when I give to someone else. It's amazing that you can do something for someone and feel just as good as they do when you give of yourself.

That is so true. I am not a rich person but I do feel the need to help others most especially those who are somehow hopeless in life. I don't need them to give me back in return for something that have done for them. The simple joy in giving is my best gift.

When we give generously, we give a part of ourselves. Our generousity is contagious at times and others may also follow suit. Its a feeling that nothing can compare to, that kindnes sin our hearts.
