Totally frustrated......Impatient i guess but excited at the same time....

Have you ever felt all these feelings all in one......The other day i knew i needed a new laptop but not the way it happened.....I accidently spilled coffee on my old laptop so it had a good drink....Least I was able to retrieve pics and things off of it and right now i'm using my husbands laptop.....
I headed on down to rent a center and got a good deal for a new laptop but i've been waiting this will be pretty much day 2 or 3 whichever way you look at it as they needed to send it to tech to get them to fix the wifi in it....
It should have word on it i can't get any answers i want it already i have already made a payment towards something that is not in my hands......If i do not have it by closing today i'm gonna be flippen frustrated and i hope they give me at least some credit towards me waiting extra days for a product i am not using that i've put money down on......
As it is i have alot of work cut out for me when i get it to dl on my programs i've used and transfer things from my hubby lap top over to my new one....Least i have his to use for the time being but i want my own lol.....

Although you have given them money they really should start your contract time on the day you receive it. You do know that computers do not drink coffee, right.
I would insist that your time on it start on the day it is physically in your hands. I can understand them wanting money upfront if they are going to do something to it and reserve it for you, but I really do think that you should not pay even one day for something you have not used.

I agree ... The contract should start from the day that she actually gets the laptop! She shouldn't be out money for the time she hasn't even had it to use it!

Well I think that all my calling and complaining worked cuz i got my new lappy today just hoping i do not have to take it back in for a reset on things cuz i did a boo boo in my transferring of my stuff from hubby lappy to mine and can't seem to figure out how to get out of it lol.....

I can totally understand your being anxious, and it is kind of strange that you paid some up front yet you are still waiting! Hopefully you get it soon, and remember ... computers and coffee don't mix well together!

Be sure to watch your lappy like a hawk around kids too ... My youngest (3) fried mine when she gave it a drink of Dr.Pepper!

I know what you mean about wanting your own. My husband and I each have a couple of laptops and tablets for our own personal and work related uses. At first I thought its too impractical even though we get most of it under great deals. But now I can understand that since we have different jobs, we have our laptops customized and set up eh programs that we normally utilize on a daily basis. If I were to use his I would probably start loading programs that would crowd his memory and affects the speed of his programs, and vice versa.
I do hope you get your laptop soon. It's exciting but the longer you have to wait the more it will get to your nerves.

I so totally agree and when i found out was tech had to do for it was even more aggravting just some driver updates to get the wifi to work go figure i'm just hoping this early in the game i'm not gonna have to take it back in tomorrow to get them to set it back to the default settings cuz of my mess up today.....
