I enjoy watching movies on movie2k. It's a free platform. Although sometimes the images are a bit pixelated, in many cases, they're still worth watching. I've found old favorites, like The Hunt for Red October, Calendar Girls and the Harry Potter collection. And new ones are being added all the time. Because my ISP speed is a little slow, sometimes I have to click pause and wait for it to load some more. But I don't mind. It beats going to the store in the rain and cold for a rental. And it doesn't take any additional storage space on my bookshelf. So long as my connection holds up, I can usually watch comfortably through most any inclement weather. It's nice to have Movie2k in my bookmarks.

I also watch some movies on movie2k. It is indeed a great open source video streaming site. The best part is that you don’t need to download any file movie just to watch it, The films are watchable as long as you have a fast internet connection. I also like the fact, that not only they are catering free movie viewing, but also watch your favorite tv-series on such open source video streaming site.

I love watching some old films most especially those movies that aren't released here in my country's local cinemas. Thanks for your response!

Good morning, heay, and thanks for joining in on this convo. Movie2k is awesome for watching free movies at home. You're right, the lack of download, just streaming, is most convenient. Do you prefer new releases or old classics?

My daughter told me about that site. She watched The Hunger Games from it. There used to be another free movie site, but it was shut down because it got really popular and drew attention from authorities. I liked it because there was no download requirements like many other. I watched Twilight, Coraline and some others before. Now they've brought it back, but it was changed into a movie discussion and reviews place and you can't watch the movies any longer.

I second the motion. It's good for it is for free. You don't need to pay anything but sometimes the quality is not good. But last weekend I'm very grateful since the last movie of Jackie Chan entitled Chinese Zodiac is already available there. It was indeed impressive for the quality is perfect. Thanks movie2k

Hi, Daisy, and thanks for chiming in. It is indeed nice to have a free resource for entertainment, especially when new releases from big names are so easily available in a timely manner. It makes things that much more fun for the audience.

Hello again, maria. Thanks for commenting. Free is definitely a budget saver. They also have Anna Karenina, Les Miserables, Django Unchained, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers and Little Fockers. Awesome lineup!
