This NCIS was very good with a story about Abby when she was a child and her first case. The young actress(Brighton Sharbino) they had playing Abby as a child was very good and so very well cast. It was close to a tearjerker of a story for the young Abby and the effect that her first case still has on her and of course it is Gibbs who helps her.

I agree with you. There was never any deep connection felt. Anyway I still did watch it from beginning to end.

I did not like it either. Charachters have to be shown in their present actions and we have to guess the rest. Gibbs does not have to show his concern for Abby in a whole, meaninless, episode. He shows it by kissing her in the forehead and bringing her coffee.

@marguicha she doesn't drink coffee, she drinks highly caffeinated cold drinks like "Monster" and "Red Bull."

I DVRed the episode, but I haven't seen it yet. So, I don't know enough about the episode to actually have an opinion about it yet. I won't watch it until my boyfriend is ready to sit down and watch it with me, since he is also a fan of the show.

Could you do me a favor and let me know the title of the episode? I haven't been home the past few days and would love to track down the episode and view it. Thanks in advance!

I think the show writers want us to know more about each member of the cast. It helps pull in more viewers, as many of us want to know something personal about the characters. I thought the right actress was cast.
