I think I have a fellow mylotter that is following me and harassing my posts. I contacted mylot and asked for their advice. Is their anyway to block someone from responding to you? I do not like this person at all, I won't give her name, out of respect, but she is a 58 year old lady from england. How can I stop her from responding to me? I mean, I really do not like her at all. On facebook you can defriend of block. I'd like to block her, if possible. Thanks much :)

It seems hard to make it in mylot. If it is possible, you can try to communicate with the lady personal in mylot through messages here, and try to persuade her to leave your discussions.

I don't know if you will be able to just ignore her otherwise, if mylot won't do any action, what a mess. If you are a male petrson, don't you think she may have a crush on you?

I've had a quick look and I think I know who you mean. I think she is trying to help you, but you aren't seeing it that way.

As Lamb stated above there is no option available for users to block somebody of responding to the discussions. You can solve the issue by talking to her. May be there is some misunderstanding between both of you. So try to sort out the problem with keeping your mind open.

I don't think you can block her, sadly if you don't like what is going on in here, you can always get out. As far as I can see, you can't control people but you can control yourself. And if you don't like something, you can always ignore.

Of course, Forever the Lamb, I accept that you will punish me on Mylot. I am a member of the group Anonymous, so we know when things happen, we never forgive and never forget. I will never resort to hurting out of misunderstanding. I am a good person, and you are free to do what you did to my account again. I will never hurt anyone here, I will never group up, harrass or mob someone for posting something as innocent as I did. Just a question. be well. You are free to use me as a target again, forever the Lamb. You are free to follow and harass :)

myLot is a discussion site, so you cannot block any member to respond or comment in your discussions... but you are not forced to comment a response, and you can report a post if you think it is insulting or flaming and it will be removed if it is.

There is no way that it is possible to block a person. All our posts are open for all the members to read. If a certain person seems to be harassing you in a way, just don't mind them. You just need to learn to let go of things. We can not expect people to be having the same thoughts like we do, right?

Why would you hate it if anyone give you advice but you need an advice now? The older members here have already understood very well about what the do's and don'ts. You would better thank them as they are still kind enough to remind you about the rule. Mylot is NOT Facebook. You really need to read the guidelines. Honor is only trying to keep you on track. Like Lamb and other veterans. I have made mistakes and they are the people who keep me on track so I won't do the same mistakes. So instead of thinking how to block her as it's impossible to do, I think you would better to read the guidelines so you would understand more about the rule.
