As inspired by the previous discussions I saw about smoking today, like smoking, having a smoker as gf, and quit smoking, I got inspired. I saw a lot of establishments having this NO SMOKING SIGN, and NO SMOKING here and some areas with THIS AREA is a NO SMOKING ZONE. Sometimes I thought... how can you be so cruel to smokers... all we want is to puff a few sticks, not the whole pack.. pleaseeee... but with thorough research ...
Yes I found out that smoking really kills and can cause cancer. Not just to the ones who are smoking but also to ...
cockroaches.
and please let us follow all sign boards, they are informative. throw the ends in the proper places. spare the life of these creatures, they have life too

I left smoking long long back, at present smoking is banned in public places, malls, railway station, bus stops, inside bus/train/movie halls/ college campus; movies can't have scenes that has smoking persons in it.

What a waste of time. People can't read. No sense of humor. Too stupid to get it. The intelligence level - or lack thereof - is appalling. But you keep trying. I'll give you credit for that.

Personally I think smoking is a choice, and you cannot convince everyone out there who smokes it is Bad for them. I have seen people on Oxygen and with heart problems that still smoke, and it makes you wonder. But honestly, it has to be a Will power. They have to have a desire and a reason to quit smoking. And if they are wanting to quit there should be people willing to offer them nicorette or the patch to help them to be able to stop as well.

There are lots of reasons why we get cancer and many times we don`t even know why. I was a smoker for over 50 years and stopped smoking because it was too expensive and I wanted the extra money for vacations. Nothing to do with health. My lungs were as good as they can be in a big city full of smog. But 2 years ago I discovered that I had cancer. A lymphoma in a place that had nothing to do with lungs or smoking. If you tell me smoking gives a bad smell to a house I can agree. If you tell me that it is expensite, I will say yes to that too. But I think that we will all die of the same illness: the illness of beinmg born mortal.

Yes, as early as you can you should quit smoking. Yeah, I also notice in most public places, there are so many post about prohibiting smoking. I remember one of my friends told me that the most regretful day of her life was when she learned how to smoke and so she is advising me not to try to smoke. Thank to her, she is not a bad influence friend.

Hi Mavic, Smoking is not allowed in any public buildings here and most people don't smoke in their homes, especially if they have children. It is not being cruel to smokers, it's just helping to keep other people safe. I think that most smokers today wish that they had never started but find it difficult to quit. On another positive note it seems that fewer young people smoke than ever before. Blessings.

oh yes sir, I believe and I strongly agree on it. I don't question the ruling in fact i don't smoke in school where I work. or when I am with people who are not smoking even during socialization. i hate to smell smokes from those who smokers because its irritating me,that is why when someone smokers beside me i will avoid them and had space from them,and they said that the one who smell the smoke or the second smoker will have more affected rather than the smoker.

Personally I don't consider smoking as a good habit. But some can't give that up. But when we think bout the side effects from this, the vise choice is to give this up. But if someone can't give up that, they should not smoke in public places. It's a danger for everyone around him. Smokers should think twice about lung cancers before smoke.
