How to transfer files from computer to windows mobile?

Is it possible to transfer files from computer to windows mobile? I downloaded nokia pc suite for my windows lumia phone but nothing turns up so how should i transfer?

Hi apurva First install the Nokia software ( the cd which is given with the packet of your mobile phone ) . Then use you data cable to transfer the files. You can also use Bluetooth device to transfer files from pc to mobile phone .

Lumia gives usb wire but there is no cd for software installation and even nokia pc suite is not for lumias so which software to use is i am searching for..

Oh , friend i have through some posts and i come to know that Nokia lumia is intended to Zune Software.

AS you said so i downloaded and tried zune software but it doesnt runs shows error and tells to go to some discussion on net and check solution .However there is no solution on that discussion though :(

Nokia Lumia phone runs a Windows Phone OS. You cannot directly transfer files from computer to your phone by a USB connector. You need to download "Zune" software. Search for it online. You can transfer files only through this software.

I don't know this particular Windows phone, but have you tried to transfer files with Bluetooth or Wifi -- through a wifi router by using a FTP software on your computer -- ? Both transfer are working fine for me.

Yeah I came to know that from this discussion but problem now is it doesn't run on my win xp and not only mine but millions of people facing this problem currently :( so i need to find another way ... THanks for your reply!!

I don't have bluetooth nor wifi on pc... I have wifi on cell though so how should i do ? Can you please explain step by step.

You must have a nokia datacable with you . It comes with the packaging. With a nokia datacable, you can easily copy files from your computer and paste to your phone's memory card.

Hi friend You forgot to mention , We need a Nokia software cd also to install before using data cable to transfer files.
