Today I got inspired to go to the gym because at least five people I met gave the same observation: I have become thinner. I am very glad to hear this being said by five friends who I met at different times earlier today. I told them of course that it is because I am already going to the gym. They are all so amazed that they also want to enroll in the same gym.

hi there cutie18f. good for you if you are able to lose weight. read that it takes approximately four months for someone else to notice a change in weight in others and approximately two months for that person to see the weight change in himself. anyway, have you taken measurements (body weight, waistline, body fat percentage, body mass index, among others) to determine if you did lose any weight? you might want to do this to quantify what you've lose. i'll be getting my physical later in the afternoon. my last one was last august 2012 and although i've maintained my weight, i'm hoping that my boy fat percentage dropped. i've been going to the gym to do circuit training and boxing for the past three months and although i've noticed a change i haven't heard any comments from friends or families about it. lol! good for you and do keep it up!!! cheers and happy mylotting!!!

good for you if you start seeing results already. like what i wrote above, get a picture of yourself and get yourself measured (waist, hips, weight, body fat percentage, body mass index, among others) so that you can quantify the changes that have happened to your body. had my physical last week and i didn't lose a pound and maintained my weigth. i did lose an inch and a half in my waist and another inch in my hips. plus my body fat percentage was down by one and a half percent. it doesn't sound much but over-all i feel lighter on my feet and i feel better about myself so i think i'm doing something right.

Hi Allen! I think I'd been going to the gym for about 4 months already so I should be seeing results already.

I love hearing comments like this, it really inspires you to work harder and lose more weight, it gives you a warm sensation and it is satisfying that all your hard work at the gym is paying off. I got a lot of great comments when I first joined a gym for the first time in my life, from a child I had always been well over-weight and diets didn't work. I had soared to 16 stone I looked horrible. Through going to the gym regularly I dropped from 16 stone to 12.7 and my waist size from '38 to '32 I felt much more confident and self-assured and loved getting the compliments. Keep up the excellent work my friend I bet you look sensational.

In fact, I am going to the gym first thing this morning because it's a Saturday morning here. Keep up the good work too, Wolfie!

That's really great news and I am happy to hear that you are making such progress in improving yourself. The best way for you to continue on is for you to see the difference that you are making for yourself. Having other people notice that there is a difference in your body though is definitely a good confirmation and I wish you more success in the future.

It is great that you have lost weight. I have to. It is an amazing feeling to be able to put on a pair of jeans that you havent been able to wear and now they fit. I love it. It is a good thing that you have inspired your friends to do the same. You can be a support group for each other and keep each other motivated.

Congrats Cutie for losing weight. It's always good to hear praising for something you're doing with passion & you are praised by five persons, that means your hard work is paying off. It'll surely encourage you in your mission. So good luck for losing more weight.
