9 year old Girl Gives Birth

When I read your post, I wondered where in Mexico did that happen. If if got into the news, it must have been on a fairly civilized part of Mexico. But when I went to Cancun, I talk for about an hour with a Maya woman who was selling her beautiful crafts on the street. She was with all ther children (5) and she looked as if she were the big sister of the eldest daughter. She had her first child when she wasn`t much more than a child herself and her whole life meant work. There are many people in this world who don`t reach the news but, when you learn abnout their lives, you think thet it`s not fair at all. Yet we must each of us do something if we want things to change. Probably in some parts of the world, what you are telling us is a common practice

This is such a horror for the little girl. Where are her parents? I hope that she can be taken cared of as well as the baby. She is still not in the age of right reasoning and she needs to learn a lot. I am so sad she had to lose her innocence at such an early age.

It is just shocking the minor girl is able to cover up her pregnancy from everyone until it reached full term ready for delivery, and the 17 years old boy is able to hide his 'tail' for so long from his parent and friends and the girl's parent without anyone raising any eyebrow over his molestation on a 8 years old. How they manage to do that right under everyone eye for so many months and ran away from authority after the revelation is no doubt quite amazing and beyond comprehension.

I think that she will need years of counselling to try and get over this. I hope that he is caught and soon. This poor baby. My heart bleeds for her. There are a lot of sick people in this world How could she really understand what has happened to her? She is just a baby and she needs years of therapy but I doubt if she will get it if she is from a poor family. I am sickened to my soul!

Hiya lelin, Heard about this on the News this afternoon and I first thought of her herself and how she must be feeling although she is but a baby herself. She will need so much love in her life to help her through all of that trauma. Even if they never found the guy its she who is left to stand on her own two feet in a way. Although I imagine her parents and family will be there to help she will probably have some kind of memory of all this and I just hope that years on from now they will be there to stand by her. It is a shocking thing to happen to a little girl because she is but a baby yet as I said before.xxx

This is so sad, this child has lost her entire life. Where was her parents? Clearly, not monitoring her, or even care about her if they let her go off with older kids, as well as let her get pregnent. Now you didn't say if she was raped or not - that would be a different story.

This is a very shocking news. I don't know what to say. It is just too much for such a little girl. It is too difficult for her to be a mom in this age. She is also a child. I hope the government will do more for her to help her to pass all of these difficulties.

Dear friend, It difficult image of this, that child, it is really a nasty crule one, that molester is sure to be given the extend of punishment. How can we see such a child in such a way, I wonder it. I can't even image that, really shocked.

Wow, that is shocking and very sad. I hope this little girl is strong enough to deal with what has happened to her. Who is going to raise the baby? I kind of have to wonder where her parents were when all of this was happening. Obviously she matured early. Why was an 8 year old girl alone with a 17 year old teenage boy unless he was babysitting her or a friend of the family. It is pretty sad to think a friend of the family would take advantage of a little girl like that. it is really sick, and really sad. My heart goes out to that poor little girl, and I hope the parents will be more careful of their children and the little baby from now on.

I'm amazed that she got pregnant at 8 yrs old because she must have started her monthly cycle to get pregnant. So what did she mature early? I'm shocked that she was in the company of a 17 year old and that he did what he did to her. Maybe she wasn't in his company maybe she was just out walking and he grabbed and raped her that does happen at times i know. Whatever the reason or whatever the circumstances i wish that little girl the best of luck and a good life and pray they find the 17 yr old who did this and try him as an adult with life in prison.

Oh my god, this is really sad and bad, where are we running too. Poor girl, how will she survive this. What will be her future.

We have to take care about our children. If we not, that thing might happen.
