It's finally the weekend and I have it off after working the past 3 weekends. I'm so exhausted because I worked night shift tues and wed then worked day shift thurs and Friday and only been getting 4-5 hours of sleep each night. My body is drained from lack of sleep and tonight I have absolutely no plans so taking full advantage of catching up on sleep. I can barely keep my eyes open I always chug caffeine at work to keep me awake. I hope they let me out early today because I could use it and come home and nap or something. Have you ever felt like this? It sucks when your overtired and you know it too. Hopefully I'll be all caught up with sleep by Sunday, here's hoping.

my reaction, oh, no, it's friday already and i haven't accomplish that much! i don't think i can survive that long on so little sleep. i won't be able to get up by the 3rd day. when i was working 12 hours, 6 days a week, all i can do on the one day off is sleep and laundry.

That's what I normally do on the weekends is sleep and do laundry too. But luckily laundry is almost done tonight so I'll just be sleeping and spending time with my boyfriend. I don't like this no sleep thing either.

yeah, that's the other thing. it also eats the time for the people you live with and time for yourself. very few people actually enjoy working all the time.

I used to work weird shifts too. Life away from work was the pits because all I had the energy to do was sleep and eat. You can't be expected to do a very good job with very little sleep. I don't like being overly tired either. Then alot of times I can't sleep and it is very agrivating.

I have been there many times, and it is rough. There have been days where all I can do is fight to keep my eyes open until I can come home from work and crash. Luckily I work Swing Shift all the time, so that is not the problem. It just is due to Health issues, sometimes I have doctors apts etc before work that means I have to get up earlier and that limits my time for sure.

I know how this feels, hope you are able to sleep/get a lot of rest. My problem is that if I am too tired I can't sleep at all anymore (even if I feel dizzy for sleep). Wish you a good nightrest.

Yes, I'm happy during weekends too. My son and I go to kid's village every saturday and we roam around the mall and eat our favorite foods. I can rest too.
