the real Paypal site! - this is the real paypal site on how it should appear on top of your web browser
remember Paypal or Ebay for that matter will never address you as " paypal or ebay member"! so that's a red flag. When ever you doubt whether or not you are on the genuine paypal site, look or check at your web browser and it should look like my picture below, ( it has a green color with a pad lock and followed by www.paypal.com. if not then by all means get the the hell outta there!

I've been receiving mails similar to that but I neglected it. I know what's going on even my browser didn't detect the mail as phishing one. I always open my Paypal browser through my bookmark page. SOrry to the phisher, they cannot victimize me. I am not new to this fall of fraud business.

They are thinking that you have thousands or millions of dollars in your account. That is the reason they want to phish you up

Hi lyn! This is very alarming. That is why we should never open our accounts from the links provided for by those emails. But I think Paypal should also monitor these type of activities so better if we could report it to them. Have a nice day!

I have received many times emails like that and at the beginning I just ignored them. Now they go directly into my spam box. You are right those pishing websites try for all means to get our info and of course our money. We have to be careful and not open those messages.

Unfortunately, these kind of phishing scams when it comes to PayPal are something that happens all too often. I know that there was a time that my husband was getting these kinds of scams into his inbox on a pretty regular basis. Now for us, it has been a while since we've seen one of these phishing emails, but I also know that it doesn't mean that they aren't still out there. I do have to say that what is more scary than these phishing emails from PayPal are the phishing emails that supposedly come from your bank.

Good for you, your system managed to intercept this malicious email before you can do anything about it. It is always a good practice to visit your accounts and log into them like every other day, preferably everyday if it's got something with your money in it or very critical personal information.
