I've noticed that since wearinh my braces (Invisalign to be exact) it has helped to cut down on my snacking. I have to remove the plastic aligners (that's what they're called) in order to eat anything and to drink anything besides water. Anyways, I was craving something chocolate tonight, like candy or ice cream, but I just didn't want to bother with removing those braces, eating, then brushing, then putting them back in. So, in the end, I didn't eat anything so I guess that's a good thing. Have a great night and happy myLotting!!!

That's a great side effect. I'll take losing weight any way I can. I noticed the other night on the Grammy Award clips that singer Faith Hill was wearing braces. It makes me wonder why she waited so late in life to get them, but she has them.

Wow! What a terrific diet aid! I'm going to have to get some of those things! Actually, I've thought about having my bottom teeth straightened for a long time but keep putting it off. My wisdom teeth were all impacted, all facing forward when they began moving. They pushed all my other teeth together before I finally had the wisdom teeth surgically removed. But, they had done the damage already. My top teeth weren't bad because I already had a space between my front teeth that was actually made much better by my wisdom teeth pushing them closed. But, my bottom teeth are a mess. I can floss between them but it is hard so I've often thought of getting them straightened. Now I know to look into Invisalign.

It sure does help in shedding off those unwanted fats! I used to wear those too when I was in Grade School. And I would be even having fever due to extreme pain. But once I got used to it, well, my appetite came back.

I just put off my brace several months ago and of course i found my teeth become more beautiful and during those brace years, i did cut down on food, not just snack but many of others then to my surprise i found i got a new eating habit as well, eating regularly every day with no more other unecessary food or snack and drinking less soft drinks or any drinks with sugar.

That is an interesting side effect of having orthodontic work done. I hope you are happy with the results both for your teeth and your cut down snacking.

These braces does make it less convenient when you want to eat things. I guess in a way it is good for you as it lessen the snacks you eat which is basically not good for your health. I am not sure if you are allowed to eat chocolate with them on and the dental condition you are having now. But don't worry as I am sure that you would have them removed soon and you can eat like you have always did.
