Finally, my flowers arrived!

WOW! He didn't forget! I was a little gloom this morning but it didn't affect me since my husband's culture is different from mine. I wasn't expecting anything like "flowers" though it's all over the news, TV, newspapers, messages that today is Valentine's Day.
He usually comes home for lunch. My mother and I prepared early so we could eat on time when he comes. I heard a loud knock and when I opened the door, there he was holding a bunch of pink/peach roses singing a Chinese song. hehehe
I giggled, took the flowers, kissed him and hugged him. He is becoming loving every passing moments I can remember.
Last year, he didn't give me because he gave me on Chinese Lovers' Day. I hope he still gives me this coming Chinese Lovers' Day. HAHAHA.

you are so lucky, girl! i wish someone gives me flowers today but i'm kinda losing my patience of waiting because it's already afternoon and still no flowers for me. well, it's just a wishful thinking because I already know that no one will give me flowers because I don't have a bf. happy V-day to you!

Thanks. Don't be a pessimist. If there is only a flower emoticon I could have given you one. Maybe, it's my day today. When I was younger, I don't expect too. It's better not too. But no worries, your day will come too. Maybe not this year, but the coming years.

yay, thanks for those encouraging words. i just broke up with my boyfriend a day before yesterday,hahaha. i hope next V-day, there would be lots of flowers for me but today, i think i will just pick up roses from our neighbor's garden, JK.

Thanks for this discussion, how can a husband forget his cute, lovely wife, there might be late in sending the gift or late arrival due to courier service, i hope he will send on Chinese Lovers day too, be happy always dear.

Wow! Your husband is very sweet! I am not expecting any flowers today because I talked to my husband not to buy today because it's expensive, he can buy tomorrow or the next few days where flowers are cheaper! Enjoy your flowers, I'm sure you deserve it!

Yes, I agree he is very sweet. You are very practical. Actually we are kinda saving too so my expectation was not much but deep inside me, even one, before the end of the day. hehehe. I'm just happy. Sorry if I'm insensitive and selfish today. 1 person likes this

Oh it is really sweet of him =) :D when is chinese lover's day?! haha i would kid my bf regarding this. my flowers were given yesterday by BF. he already wanted me to have them yesterday with balloons, and today i got myself a panda masrhmallow from him too.

Oh, he is so thoughtful. He wants you to really feel the occassion with all the love he could offer. Last year, Chinese lovers' day fell on August 23rd. Since, the Chinese New Year this year is like "Feb 10". I assume the lovers' day this year will be some what around "September" already. Since, he made you very special, how are you going to make him feel special too?1 person likes this

You are so right. I feel so lucky, because last year he didn't give me. Oh, your husband is also sweet. At least he found a way to give you something as early as possible. But he gives me anything else that I could use (like a car). But sometimes, my ultra feminine side can't help but imagine and hint at him to give me flowers.

I am glad he is. I love flowers and I'm glad he knows. I have never receive some from someone whom I don't like. Or maybe I have ... clarence! Maybe not. HAHAHA!

Honestly I don't care for flowers. I find it kind of depressing that they die so fast. My boyfriend cleaned our apartment and made me dinner then took our son so I could relax. I would take that any day over flowers. He also wrote me a love note in the morning and left it where he knew I would find it. I am not big into valentines day as I feel you should show someone how much you love them every day not just once a year. However this year my Boyfriend really made my day. I think it's sweet that your husband did that for you though.

leateagee oh my those are really l ovely and you are a lucky lady to have the love of a good man.I am glad hes the type who shows his feelings as some men cannot show it but can do things that show how much they love you. My hubby hardly ever said I love you bu t all the many things he did for me over our long marriage assured me he really truly did love me.
