Improvement suggestions and ideas for mylot

I would like to start this discussion to get every ones opinion here in mylot on how and what are the improvement we need to do here in mylot to make this site a much more better site aside from earnings. I guess some old members here we are fully aware of the growth of the site but as you may notice the numbers of member did not rapidly increase for the past years. I have been in this site for years and I have noticed it that the members increased from around 10,000 and not to mention that most of those new members are not so active. Why? that is the question I really want to answer for my self. Let's think of some ideas how would we make the sites better and bigger than it was now. Every suggestions and ideas are appreciated but give us a good reasoning for your ideas.

How do you suggest that should be improved?
It is perfectly clear how to earn here in the FAQs or were you suggesting that we should earn more?

Quite frankly, lately, I have seen MANY, MANY discussions..about improving this site...and most of them are posted by new or infrequent users.
There is an old saying; "if it ain't broke don't fix it!" As time marches on, there are new sites everyday...many leave, but do come back because of the wonderful friendships they have made here. In all the turmoil of day to day..it is nice to have myLot as a soft place to land, and chat with your friends.
I don't see any reason to fix it...other than a few of the technical glitches that are occuring.
And I would ask,now that you know I have NO improvement suggestions...what are your suggestions?
I think of anyone that is qualified to give you a qualified response..it is MysDianit!

I don't think any qualification is needed but thank you pergammano - and I thought I had done above, until honor saw it in another light (which I must be missing entirely

I must say, I truly admire you for your patience...have stumbled upon a few of these today, and you have painted such a black and white picture for them..but to no avail!

You must have missed some episodes because so far this week there are three (yes 3!) new users who were clueless and disappointed and asked for advice. They listened and heeded and are now sailing away! 
That makes it all worthwhile and the others only have themselves to blame if they are still unhappy

Personally like others have mentioned here, the thing is getting people in here is telling them the truth about this site. Too many people are told wrong things about here, or leave due to the slow pay, etc instead of learning what it takes to keep this site a great place to be. But overall they really do not need to work on improving this site unless you mean small things like notifications etc. Overall this site for me, continues to be one of the best places to be.

There are many things that can be done to change the face of MyLot. But the ultimate choice is up to the owners of the site. If they feel that it is working for them this way then don't expect to see any changes. I have no problem with it. There are many sites online that have these real good looking pages. But does that really mean they are good? No, not at all. Just because MyLot is plain and simple does not mean it is ineffective. I am sure that if the website owners want to change something they might very well ask the members for suggestions. I have yet to see that here. I come here everyday to enjoy the discussions created by my friends and to start some myself. Yes, the earnings are the plus, the perk. Enjoy.

My idea to improve mylot is by organizing a best answer contests, in which the winner is determined by voters. The contest would be held in monthly. The mylot open some topics in several categories, so that members will be in droves to answer the question or quiz. Every member need to vote 10 times to get 1 chance answering a question in a contest. The winner will be awarded by $100. I think this will be exciting for all mylot members.

okay try this again it flew away.copy paste. I hate that idea as it wojld pit people agaist each other and turn this into a game place not a discussion forum at all .Pitting people against each other just leads to cat fights and deleted discussions as its not designed for games and such,.sorry lets keep mylot as a different site not like any o
ther.
