And no I didn't get fired thank God. But as many of you have remembered who read my post about me spotting the fake in my job and that I don't like her and well I don't think she likes me. Well, which I really don't care I'm just going to try and do my best. Well, anyways, my team lead came into work today and he was talking to the team about some things and then we were telling him about how work went yesterday. Which, according to that one manager that no one seems to like (and I even heard through the grapevine "the other team members at the store" that the fake lady is a tattle tale sort of person.) Well anyways, I was talking to one of the team members today because I wanted to know what happened when he had the walk through with that lady she's a manager and what did she say. In my opinion, I honestly thought we did a good job yesterday. We finished all our work and only left behind a few stuff, because it couldn't be found and we already went through those departments. Well anyways, the lady said she would walk through with that team member so we could try and find the items. So the guy waited around for her so they could look for the items that could not be found. The lady never showed up and well that team member went through the departments again by himself looking for the items. He found a few and well the other stuff, he could just not find. Since the lady never showed up, he was like oh well, then he went to the back to help me and another team member with scanning through some other stuff. Which we finished and then plus, we are no longer allowed to stay passed our scheduled time, we then had to clock out for the day and go home. So on his way out the store, the lady gets all attitude like and says so you guys are just going to go home without telling me . I knew there was a reason why I didn't like this lady. Anyway, the reason that he never told her anything, she was in a meeting all day and doing interviews. She told him that she would get with him in 5 mins and 5 minutes turned into an hour. So what was he supposed to do, wait around for her to finish. So now she was like, well that's fine, I'll just discuss this with your team lead and she walks off. Lol, I'm like grrrr if I didn't work here, I'd like to punch her. So anyway, we talked to our team lead about what was happening and then he tells us the worse news ever. I'm like omg I quit, well I really don't quit, but ugh this will definitely be a challenge for us. Anyways, supposedly she is supposed to be our etl, basically she is supposed to be our manager over us. I forgot what etl means. Anyway, yeah grrrrr. Seriously. And the team lead was like she is over us and the clothing area and well, she really doesn't know how our team works and so basically he's going to have to show her what we are supposed to do and how things are supposed to be done so she can understand how things are supposed to be. How can these people just put someone over us and she knows nothing about our job. I have a really bad feeling about her being my manager. But you know what I'm just going to take everyone's advice that has been giving me advice and just show kindness towards her and do my work the best that I can and just stay positive. I would have rather stuck with the guy that was over us, cause he was so understanding and he knew how our team was supposed to work. But now I hear that he won't be our manager any more. Grrrr! Oh yeah....also my team members and I have come up with this code name for this lady because we don't want to get in trouble for talking about her. There is this toy that is called yada yada its so funny cause me and this girl used to make fun of it and walk around yelling yada yada well not yelling but just singing it off. But anyways, I was like I have an idea when we want to talk about certain person, so we don't get in trouble, we'll just say yada yada is starting to get on my nerves and we'll be talking about the person who we really don't like which is now our manager. I can't believe she is going to be my manager.

Hmmm but that is normal... i guess when teams reshuffle and when teams have to change managers when i was working with a bpo company this happens too often but since we are a team we often would just carry on with our work and we do not let our new team managers get to us. I ambsure you and your team mates will just have live with the fact you are to have a new lead... you will learn how she is and will eventually get used to her management style.

Yeah I think I'm going to have to get used to her and learn how she is and just be nice to her. But yeah supposedly she was supposed to always be our manager. The other manager that was our manager for awhile they decided to take him off cause they said he's just managing too many teams. So they cut him from ours.

That is how things work. According to business, the manager is supposed to be the boss, not the team, and she really do not care how the team works unless it is for her. The same thing happened when my husband worked for the CN (Canadian National Railway) the manager or supervisor was someone no one liked. It is not that she has it in for you. But maybe she was made manager to get her to be a little more nicer to the other employees and the team. Maybe the boss is forcing her to do this because maybe she said, "I can be manager," and maybe the boss is saying outloud, "okay you got the job," but secretly thinking, "see if you can handle it. Managing is no picnic and you'll probably fall on your face."

All you can do is be professional. Companies sure can do some stupid things can't they? I have had to make code names to talk to fellow co-workers about others too. So there are several who don't like her? That is sad. Well, she isn't there to make friends and if things get real bad you can always look elsewhere with no one the wiser.

Yeah that's true and fine with me. I know too I don't have to like her, but I do have to be professional at least with her and that is what I will do. So I'm just going to try my best and hope for the best and if it doesn't work out I'll just have to search for work elsewhere. But yeah sometimes companies don't make the best choices.

The important thing is that you and your team mates get along well and can perform great. Regardless of what kind of management she does to your team, for as long you know you are doing the right thing, then that is the bottom line.
